Edit to add: I read a comment on another video that pointed out Rhaenys' experience and knowledge vs Aemond's. He had the bigger dragon, sure, but she knew what she was doing. She locked herself into the saddle so she wouldn't fall out when Meleys went sideways or upside down. She grabbed Vahgar's foot, taking those huge claws out of the equation somewhat. Put Meleys in a 69 position with Vahgar to lessen potential fire damage. Created a vortex by spinning Vahgar around and around that put her on the ground while Meleys was able to fly away. If it wasn't for the sneak attack, she could've taken out Vahgar.
Wouldn't it have been better if she flew back to Dragonstone to let them know that Kings Landing is unprotected & they could've attacked there?
@sproductionsinc Vahgar could've followed her back, knowing they only sent Meleys and Caraxes is at Harrenhal. I don't think she had another choice but to fight Vahgar here. By the time she gets to ground and warns them, the element of surprise is lost and Vahgar has either followed her or gone back to Kings Landing. Rooks Rest, Kings Landing, and Dragonstone are all very close together. She saw an opportunity to either hurt or kill the biggest dragon the greens have and she took it.
@@mamaseesa3122 Aemond wasn't even following her, though, which I thought was odd. Wouldn't she think Aemond knocking down Aegon was odd, too?
This episode really had me balling at the end! Like truly. This show is something else!
Fun fact: the place they used for the battle in this episode was the same area they used for the opening battle scene of Gladiator. They mentioned that on a behind the scenes video they did for the battle.
The concoction that Alys gave Daemon was Weirwood sap, it's what Bran consumes to enhance his Greenseer powers. He drank it because he had just seen her eat some and then add hot water to it.
In the books, it is said that she appears younger than she is, but according to the showrunner, Ryan Condel, she is 400 years old.

I love the brief glimpse we get of Aegon's relationship with Sunfyre. You can see the love. Probably the only kind of love Aegon has ever experienced.

Rhaenys was the best character of the show... i knew she would die but I cried through the scene she died.
I think Aegon is still alive. His dragon shielded him on the downfall with his wings and body.
Aemond is just evil. I really hope Cole is gonna die soon. He survives everything.... it's rediculous.....
