My wife and I went on a walk through a County Park and a young Woman with a bright neon red haired doo was crying because a squirrel wouldn't het her hug it. It kept running away... I know what you are dealing with. God will reward you for your frustration.
It never ceases to amaze me just how persistent these Beavers can be. It seems that for everyone you remove one more takes it place. Keep on keeping on with what you do to protect our environment. God Bless.
Hey David I deal with these Karens too and have learned there is nothing we can do to fix stupid because stupid is FOREVER. It’s a life sentence that we can’t do anything about no matter how much we try. All we can do is BLOCK each and every single one 🤪and go about our lives. But I do pray for them because I know that squirrels are smarter than them and THEY get hit by cars and I just dont want them hurt or killed but I cant waste my time trying to fix what cant be fixed. 😂 Love your channel and truly appreciate you David! God bless and watch over you and your family.
This was one of your best episodes and must have involved many hours of editing. It is amazing how so many think they are both civil engineers and environmental engineers sitting behind a screen!! This episode showed in great detail the thinking and planning that is involved in your work and how you have to devise a solution to a given situation. Your work involves trying to create a hard reality between the landscape and those who live in it. Thanks as always.
Awesome episode of the Yawt Yawt Show!! Mahalo for the very educational show about how Beavers are a nuisance. Beavers are really smart when comes to damming up the right places to make trouble 😂. I understand how they damage roads with their dams causing flooding. I get it how trapping them is a necessity to avoid these dangerous flooding and road damage!! Keep up the great work and again Thank You for all you do to help us who don’t deal with Beavers understand what’s going on!!
Hats off to the American farmers dealing with the invasive wild boar menace! Their resilience and strategic approaches to protect their fields are truly commendable. It's a tough battle, but their dedication is inspiring
It doesn’t surprise me that people would come to your channel just to give you a bunch of crap. There’s people like that every day. You just keep doing what you do David.
David, you are providing a very powerful education, for the viewers, of the complications created by these animals and what needs to be done! Keep up the good work!
I enjoyed how you figured out that the beaver was probably swimming in a lower path and you caught him still. Watch you do what you do is very educational and keeps a suburban person as I entertained. Continue to be careful. Good to see that you also still have that ear for hearing bad wires many of us don't have.
Good morning brother this was a good educational video and if people don't understand then they just city slickers come on 🤣 but got a new saying maybe "when you see the traps the Beavers Collapse" but any who enjoyed the last podcasts about bears and learned a lot from it. Thanks for sharing all u do and take care and as always God bless ya Yawt Yawt 🙏😁
David, You keep doing what you're doing. People who are not from the south don't understand what a pharrell animal is. Exactly how much damage that could cost dollar wise. Let the tree hikers go hug their trees. You do you. Bless their hearts.
Here in Alaska we hunt! So the South has nothing on us! LOL! We also have Karen’s and Vincent’s. Woke people and tree huggers are like roaches! They are everywhere! We don’t put up with them much here when they mouth off! Sure love these videos!😎
Yes David beavers do a lot of damage for sure I've seen it seen many taken as a young child your truly a man who knows what your talking about to that's why this Old Lady loves watching you just be careful in all you do I know you are and keep doing the great jobs you do God Bless you David your a wonderful man
Mr Yawt, There are people that can't figure out why it gets light every day! They can't understand why they are no longer thirsty after they drink water! That clay is Wonderful!
I love these videos man. Educational, like short movie or show, and always fun!! I like being able to watch the 24/30 min videos as well 👍👌😎 congratulations and God bless u Yawt Yawt, and all of ur family with ur careers and lives ❤ JESUS loves u!! 🦃 🦃 🦃
Warm thoughts are coming your way. You must’ve thought long and hard about your presentations. Dave , getting the right combination of ingredients make you a success. Thank you.
David it’s easy for couch critics to give an opinion on what they don’t understand, have to deal with or agree with due to ignorance. Folks who live in their own bubble are at times the most challenging to enlighten. I salute your efforts to educate. Here in oklahoma we have pigs, coyotes, armadillos, raccoons and feral dogs that destroy our wildlife habitat. Which in turn drastically affect our turkeys, deer, quail, rabbits and other small game animals.
Recently I read someone put a few loudspeakers out by a lake were beavers were living. They played rushing water sounds through the loudspeakers to see what would happen. Well, the beavers covered up the loudspeakers with sticks and trash until they muted the noise! 😂
I’m not a hunter but I love watching your videos and I swear you have the most BEAUTIFUL WIFE in Mississippi. Ignore the haters and MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY from Big Daddy T in ROLL TIDE COUNTRY
Hi David. You just keep doing what you need to! So ALOT of money can be saved!! I completely get it without explanation! Not trying to make people angry! But you can see they are a nuisance!!
Love everything you do, just a small suggestion, get a couple of little cork type floaties to put on your setters. Keep on slapping tails and knocking heads.
GREAT WORK YAWT!!!! And GREAT job of explaining, why you have to do what your doing. Beavers are RELENTLESS when it comes to stopping moving water, either you stop them, or they stop it!!!!!👍 And the education and 330 necklace for Karen was PERFECT!!!! Have a WONDERFUL day, and GOD BLESS ALL!!!!!!👍😊🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hey just a suggestion but you may want to consider tying a string to the 2 tools that you use to open the trap with. Might be easier to recover one if you drop it instead of having to reach down in the water😉
Hey David - love all of the videos. I live about an hour north of you. Question - you always mention you have someone picking up the beavers from you - do they mostly do it for the hides? Or to cook? Just wondering.
I have a creek going through my property. I did have cattle in that same area.....but sold them. In 18 months the beaver built 16 dams. The following year I Bought more cattle. The beaver disappeared ! Key........get rid of trees......brush.... tall grass. Beaver have a hard time to build a dam with no tools ! Maybe impractical most times.......but often that can happen !
Great information today. I think that the trouble people today have is that growing up, in school, we're taught that the beaver, here in North America ,were trapped to almost gone by fur trappers to fulfill the Greedy money men making profit on the animals' fur. Not landowners keeping their properties kept up by trapping animals causing problems on their ground. They get caught up in the" save the beavers" mentality and don't realize that that era is history. Keep up the great work!
Hi David, Don't apologize or try to rationalize yo others that you are a beaver trapper, what you are doing is helping the environment and making rhe roads safer and more passable for us.
Does your wife get sick of beaver season? With all your beaver jokes and innuendos? I love it. Beaver that is, joking! lol (so says my 13 year old self) God bless and keep up with the good work.
good job dave too bad you can't do that where i am at but here they bother no one i love to see them. funny how state trapper wants to come in and take them out. my banks along my river are 30 foot high and if bursts the dam the beavers put will only go to the missouri river and no one lives down stream of me.. so they bother no one. So i tell them No. but your awesome!! and your roads need your help so keep helping.
Hey David, I've been a fan for about 4 yrs but, this is my first comment. Your doing what has to be done. Just don't let them naysayers bother you. What I'm wondering is are you a beaver whisperer or do you speak beaver. What ever the magic is, your percentage is right up there. Keep up the good work
David, Unfortunately city people will never understand country ways. These are the same people once they can’t buy something at the store the panic sets in. They wouldn’t last 10 days in the woods. lol.
God Bless, you are a great educator. Thank you, I experienced eager beavers who ruined roads and streams and lakes. Can the meat of beaver be used as dog food or in hog trapping? Just asking.
The best thing to tell them is beaver don’t like moving water. It doesn’t matter what you do they will stop the water flow. Good luck. People just don’t understand the problems we have in the south.
David I was wandering if you knew any of the Brasher’s in Eupora and in Ackerman Mississippi their dad was my mother’s brother and Earlene Brasher was his wife she worked at the Natchez Trace electric company where people went to pay their light bills
Between you and Post 10, my knowledge on how destructive beavers can be has greatly improved. Trapping beavers doesn't seem like an easy task, lol! Thanks!
@davidellisyawtyawt if you want to look at another RUclipsr I watch he goes by Post 10. He goes around the New England area unclogging culverts and breaking up beaver dams. He doesn’t trap him but you two are of like mind because he knows the damage beavers do to roads, especially since they do a lot of logging up there. For problem beavers they live trap them and relocate them. Great video as always!
Today’s post is to try to educate those who don’t know why or how We trap beaver in Mississippi only. Y’all have a blessed day.
Why do you take so long to do up trap n also recovery ..😂😂😢😢
Great job!!
The haters are never gonna listen to common sense cause as we know- common sense AINT so common, any more!!!
What are you doing with the beavers once you have them?🙌

That’s why it’s important to keep trapping
Enjoy your laughter and joy for what you are doing to help the farmers and the county!!
