When Pendragon and all the other captains of the damned show up to save the day is by far one of the most epic moments in any game I've ever experienced
this tall tale is seriously slept on. everyone talked about it when it came out but after that I haven’t really heard much about it. the music paired with the visuals creates something straight up cinematic.
The Captains of the Damned theme gets me everytime. As cheesy as it might be, people with different goals that otherwise might be foes, coming together to defend what they consider home is just beautiful to me.
I've been repping pirate for over a decade, it started with PotC Online, me and my crew searched AGES to find another game that just recaptured the spark. We all kinda had alittle but of a wave of emotions around 27:38 when we all started realising "this is it, we finally found it, we're home again and PotC actually got to come came along with us"

It’s will and Elizabeth’s theme, so I was t entirely sure of how it fit into the story, but using it as a motif for having something worth dying for as well as the curse of the Dutchman is interesting
My crew and I just happened to be heading towards the Black Pearl when the Captains of the Damned popped up. Looked just epic watching the other boats pop up behind the Pearl. The timing and view was so perfect looking back I should have recorded it.
Me and my friends were doing it on a brig, the scene of the pearl and the other ships was truly amazing, we ended up having a Galleon and a Sloop watching us fight Davy Jones, it was an amazing battle, really, I hope we see more of these things.
On the Warpath keeps getting reused but this time the payoff was HUGE. All that PotC music was insanely cool and good, but in the end, the crews of the Sea of Thieves do things their way!
So many POTC Melodie’s and motifs that have been blended with SOT’s style of battle music and original motifs. I couldn’t have asked for a better soundtrack.
Considering how unique Johnny Depp and his portrayal of jack is they captured his voice and mannerisms really well throughout the tales But Jones is literally just voiced a Scottish bloke they found on the street
Why is Jones not Dutch? I mean, his ship is according to Lore and real history a Dutch trading ship. In history the ship also had a Dutch captain. It's not logical that Jones is English. But maybe he talks with that strange accent to let him look like he isn't English?
In all my years of gaming, this is the best mix i have ever encountered. not to mention the way they combined the davy jones theme with the siren choirs. that last battle with davy jones got me to a level of dedication to beating the last boss that i never reached before! we need more of this! a permanent coalition with the SoT world and the PoC
what I like about the captains of the damned rendition of the classic "on the warpath theme" is how they blend a hurdy gurdy with a trumpet the hurdy gurdy symbolizing the sea of thieves and the trumpet the pirates of the Caribbean, both instruments merged together and working with each other to achieve a greater goal
Everyone's quoting Endgame with the Captains of the Damned part. But, I think Star Wars Episode 9 is worthy to quote too. So, here. Jack: "I'm sorry. I thought we had a shot... There's just too many of them. " Pendragon: "But there are more of us, Jack. There are more of us. "

When the captains of the dammed showed up I got major chills. Fighting alongside the greatest captains the Sea of Thieves has ever seen and the man my parents named me after (Captain Jack Sparrow) to face the greatest threat to that which I hold dear, the sea.
It is so cool. For me it really gives it the feeling that there are syrens there. If they also made an animation for the appearance of their shield, it would have been much cooler.
Where the mermaid statue were a megalodon and ghist ships attacked me but still survived and desteoyed the statues i didnt believe that i was still alive
10:30 should have been fan animated. I would have loved to see the Spires Rise from the sea, all hope seemingly lost as Jack, Pendragon, and the captains of the damned arrive to save the day

This is the best ending to Pirates of the Caribbean that they really deserved all along while the black mouse sucked the money out of their franchise. And all the fifth, sixth movies go to hell. Disney, hire the Rare writers to work for you, they obviously know their business better than yours.

(SPOILERS DO NOT READ ON IF YOUR NOT WILLING TO BE SPOILED) What I don’t like about this tall tale is how they unified everyone including characters from dark brethren. I was hoping the final flameheart tall tale would be somewhat like this and bring everyone together but now they’ve already used that idea so the final flameheart thing (which is the most important enemy of the game) will not be like this. I mean it’s be cool if flameheart got the gold hoarder, Wanda, Davy Jones and other characters together but that’s kinda rehashed. Just gotta wait and see I guess…
That will be for Sea of Thieves themselves to do. After all they are the rightful owners of this music. The guy who uploaded this probably just turned off all his other game sounds and left the music on. He did the whole tale without game sound.
The only thing I am a little disappointed by is that there was no sign of the other "dark brethren" in this Tall Tale.. But I suspect they have plans for Season 4 or 5 (hopefully.. I don't want to wait another year+ for actual story to happen >.>)
Well, they could always make an animated series for POTC that will have some of the old cast in it (the voice actor for Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow is good, but we all can agree that Johnny Depp is needed for live action Jack Sparrow). Though if this DLC becomes Canon to POTC, which to be honest will not be the most outlandish thing possible in that series, then I would also like to see Davy Jones return as an antogonist again, but then slowly go into the process into forgiving Calypso and becoming the man he once was again.

This soundtrack made me sob. This truly was a masterpiece and I am honored to sail on the Sea of Thieves.
The music, the ships rising from the depths to help you from the captains and people you helped gave me chills.
