    You got WAY MORE MOXY than i sir. Using a buffing wheel like that while hold the pickguard, while avoiding the already soldiered wiring harness. One slip up and its ER with a side of SG destruction 😂. Beautiful job nevertheless. Well done sir. You earned my sub sir.👍🙏😌

    Looks much better! 👍🏻 The only other thing you could have done was clean the poles in the pickups

    First time I've seen that setup for straightening the neck before fret leveling.

      I was looking for a way to use an edge with certified flatness without the need to have a dedicated edge for every scale length! Also I am doing alot of modern multiscale instruments and the conventional edges wasn't working.

    Nice Job! But why didn't you take the electrics off. It would have been only 3 solder joints and would have been a lot less risky!
    What polish were you using on the nitrocelulose laquer?

      The only win win when it comes to lacquer in my eyes you buy blue then get green down the line in 20 years. My Polaris white Sg’s were a hard one to swallow brilliant white to cigarette stain yellow. My sapphire blue SG starting to green up.

    It reminds me of a SG special that came out around the late 2000’s. It had the Pelham blue finish with the batwing cover and dot inlays. Might this be that model?

    • @sonicalmods781
      @sonicalmods781  Год назад

      At this point that's the most common answer! Actually a 2001 special in Pelham Blue, someone also mentioned Inverness green, i am not sure if that was an option for 2001 specials though. Maybe someone in the comments could tell us, Inverness green and Pelham Blue aren't so far off, at least in my eyes!

      I think this was probable a 2001/2002 period SG special in Blue Teal flip flop that's faded to green?

      I am not gonna lie, all those greenish-blueish colors looks the same to me! as long as i dont have to color match them for a repair!!! :D@@ianbenson7804
