Excellent repair, but you need a finer polish job to get rid of the orange peel look and bring it back to clear glass.

that's not what gets rid of orange peel. You need better level sanding and working through the grits up to buffing. I can tell this person laid down their build coats too thick. and didn't level it back. Polishing does not fix any of that.
If he doesn't wet sand that and buff that out properly with the proper compound that orange peeling is going to start to flake and lift you are absolutely right

Looks nice. That glossy finish on obviously not new Gibson looks a bit unnatural for me. There is a fine line between unplayable guitar and a vintage one, what is the target of everyone, who wants a relic. Relic has no real history, no real emotions - just intentionally beaten up technical device for somebody to look (not sound) cool. Glossy finish, on the other hand, erases the history, like a concrete parking lot upon a cemetery place.

I only have two criticisms. Firstly, don't use superglue as filler and secondly,
use cellulose lacquer instead of polyurethane.
Other than that,,, nice job.
thank you for watching .you are right . I recently learned that all Gibsons are painted with cellulose lacquer. I made a complete paint booth, so please look forward to the next video.
Хоть кто то догадался укреплять гриф не вставками махогона а более прочным кленом. Во всех видео которые я видел ставили махогон, но это очень мягкое и рыхлое дерево, и оно не подходит для укрепления сломанного места.

信じられない。あなたはところどころ正しいことをしているのに、最終的にはアマチュアの趣味レベルの結果に落ち着いてしまう。それだけの労力をかけ、基本的には正しいプロセスを踏んでいるのに。最後にはディテールへのこだわりや正確さ、あるいはやる気が欠けているのかもしれません。塗装を剥がし、穴を埋め、研磨し、塗装し直しても、仕上がりには凹みや埋めた穴が目立っています。表面が不均一で、荒れていて、研磨やポリッシュをしているはずなのにブツブツが残っています。これだけ手間をかけて、ここまでひどい仕上がりにするのは逆に難しいですよ。一番ひどいのは、不透明効果を多用して隠そうとしていること。顔だけでなく、時には他のものまで。見る側の気分を台無しにするだけでなく、仕上がり同様にプロっぽく見えません。本当に残念です。あなたの動画も作業も大きな可能性を秘めていると思うのに。ドイツから応援しています！
