When I saw that songbird was gonna cure you of the relic I thought it was gonna be the be all end all ending. I think the new ending was pretty well balanced out regarding V's fate. Apart from staring at the skill tree for an hour to find out wth happened in 2.0 and reloading saves every hour because the game bugged out, Id say it was pretty decent. Also I was playing female V so no Panam nudes😢
Totally agree on the ending, but the ending definitely did leave me reeling at all the twists and turns until I had time to sit down and think about it like with the original game. They really did need to give us a quick rundown on how to work the new skill tree. I did have a couple other bugs of my own that didn't seem as funny to include like being stuck in cutscene walk mode, and cloud save bugging that only happened after I started playing the side quests in more depth, but the side quests did make up for a lot of the issues. And damn that's sad, that was the funniest text in the DLC. 🥲
Luckily on the ekbok i only got stuck in walk mode twice leading to me reloading a save which resolved the issue. I'm not sure why i expected to get different endings that sort of veered from the base game. In my opinion there is only one "good" ending throughout the game including the dlc. All the other's left me feeling empty and frustrated which i guess might be a sign the game was good....maybe
