    What an amazing mom you are. I need to do this for my family. How long did all of this take you? I only have four kids but I need to think like this because this would help us not eat fast food when we’re in a pinch. I also only have two refrigerators but I think that will be plenty for storing cheese and meals. You are superwoman and I wish we were neighbors.

    OMG! I don't use to write coments but you are amazing!!! I never thought about freezing or cooking for a month, I always have to cook...maybe every two days a week but my salads I have to make them every single time I want to eat them.. we are a family of 4 but I'm very impressed with your dedication and you are such a sweet mom... Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. I learned new things today and I hope you keep posting more videos like this and tips as well. God bless you and your family. Subscribed😀

    I love marinading chicken with italian dressing. Its so good to cook on a charcoal grill. Tasty on an open fire too. The smoke merrying with the dressing.. YUM! Throwing tinfoil covered potatoes and corn on the cob right in the coals is tasty too. Been waaaay too long since I've done that. I love making homemade spaghetti sauce, its so thick and great on pizza too, plus so cheap to make. Which I have to make tomorrow. Thanks for sharing and have a great rest of your week!

    So I am single and have no children and I'm actually watching these videos for inspiration because I've spent half my day just making spaghetti sauce for myself because I use so many vegetables and I batch cook. It's the chopping of all of the garlic and the onions and everything that takes so much time and sauteing each pan of vegetables separately and so I see you use a food processor and I really need one of those. I figure people with large families have to know how to prep food fast and so your videos are very inspiring and you have a very good work ethic in the kitchen.

    I grocery shop early Friday morning and cook all our food for the week same day. It really is so much easier. People are always like well isn’t it hard with this or that. Dishes etc. I think it’s way easier! I have a 7m old so when I get home from the store it’s her nap time and she’s asleep almost the whole time I cook (usually takes three hours) sometimes I shop middle of the week for special soups I want that I know my husband won’t eat and I give the rest to my in-laws 😊

    You can do oven nachos.....so easy. Just cook the ground beef, season to your taste. Drain the fat. Spread tortilla chips on a long pan, top with the ground beef and shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for 15 min.350 degrees or until cheese is melted. Top with tomatoes, salsa, lettuce, sour cream, avocados, pinto beans, onions, jalapenos etc. With a taco salad bar the kids can pick and choose their own toppings. I saw the ground beef and thought taco salad- nachos. 😀😀😀

      amy maryon I make Chili Beans with ground beef, seasoned, with pinto beans and onions & an envelope of Taco Seasoning. The next day you can do Nachos or burritos, or taco salad bar with chips and toppings. That's how we do it. We're 40 mins. north of the Mexico border so we have alot of tacos and salads here. 😊😊😊

So, I had to go on out and get the groceries myself. Ended up at Aldi 1st at $197 and then Walmart at $117 but NOW I'm done PRAISE THE LORD. Now gonna thaw my freezer and plan meals :-)

    • @amymaryon

      I do defrost and then heat for one minute thirty seconds in microwave. If frozen it's about three minutes. Depending upon how long the veges last. Cucumbers tend to go slimy around ten days, so keep those out and u can get two weeks!

    Hi Mrs. Amy great video once again I'm so afraid to start monthly meal planning it looks so intimidating...and I also wanted to ask you if your romaine lettuce for your salad was organic or home grown because there is a recall out on Romaine lettuce because it has ecoli on it

    • @amymaryon
      @amymaryon  6 лет назад +1

      Yes I checked, mine was good. Thank you for that. I learned about the recall from a comment so I'm grateful for you telling me that. Start small. Just do one thing.....breakfast or a couple lasagna. I didn't do it all at once . This has been 24 years in the making :)

      I think these questions are so rude. Does it matter what they do. They are a great family. I think Amy is amazing keeping her house nice and clean by herself. No kids running around doing heavy chores. God bless you sweetie and keep going. Xxxx
