Hello, thank you for sharing. Can you please make a video of the pancake muffins? I've never heard of those and it sounds like something my kids would love.
I know this is an old video, but I’m fairly new to you so catching up! I just wanted to say (not that it even matter) that I love the natural lighting. It feels so warm and glowy. I’m sure you have a new camera and lights these days, but I kinda like the old school look 🙃
Hello Amy, while I was watching your video I thought of a freezer meal that freezes well. If your family likes mashed potatoes, corn/mixed veggies and lamb/beef you can make Sheperds pie or also known as Cottage pie when you use beef. I have also prepared this with other ground meats. My children love it with katchup. I was going to send a recipe but there are so many recipes out there. When I prepare this meal I keep it simple.
Amy! Did u make that grocery list yourself or is there a template online? If you can just tell me where to start with something like this. Such a timesaver
I just found your channel and blog recently and love them! Thanks for taking the time to encourage others! I think I have watched all your cooking videos-love those and just went and got the ingredients to make the Asian lettuce wraps. How do you freeze those? Don't they get slimy?? Thanks and blessings!
+Liz Lane yay! I am glad you have found me. Those are my favorite meals ever. I'm uploading one right now where I eat it :). No slime. After it is all mixed up store in freezer bags..thaw when ready to eat. Delicious !!! See ya soon
Did you do a freezer meal video for March? I don't know if I've seen it but I saw your before and after until you were talking about making your Asian wraps and I don't remember seeing that video
Hey Amy, you mention soo many times 'the discount store', which store would that be? I'd like to try out some new places and I'm curious where you go. Thanks!!
Could you do a video on your granola and trail mix recipes please. Or if you have done them already please leave the links. New subscriber, love your beautiful family. Thanks for all the ideas!
Have watched last years and this years amy.i enjoy your family..have you thought about ordering your paper products from walmart free. No shipping rite up to the door.i dont know how u and 5 childred and your supplies fit in the bus van..u work so hard that would help u a lot..tell your childred they are very well behaved..such a loveing family..
I am actually going to do that this next month. I had no idea..it was free . shipping so between that and sams club I am so doing that!!! Thanks for reminder
Thanks Amy , i’m greek i really want to know how to make the greek gyro not to judge you of course,,, i just love to have the recipe . I can share also the best original greek satziki sauce if you like , for the kids !!!!
+Ria Chatzaki it's always interesting to see how other people make it. I think I posted a sausage red beans and rice recipe and someone said it was not near what it should be lol its funny how u may come across one recipe and it can be completely different than others. We love the gyro recipe. I am out of fresh pita and I used up all my tortillas so I need to pick up some before we make it. The kids like tortillas...:). I will soon keep watching. And what is that satziki sauce? I would love it
Lol you funny this is happened to me also hahah ,The recipe for the satziki (i know you use Aldi’s yogurt the plain greek is the best for the satziki i use that too . So one whole greek can greek yogurt or your own if is thicker, 5 4-5 cloves of garlic really purée like ,One whole cucumber shredded and strained the water from ,half 1/3 of fresh parsley diced thinly 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar salt 1 teaspoon or more to your taste half cup of extra virgin olive oil . you can put all these in the food processor for 2 sec and all is done . Enjoy !!!!!
+Ria Chatzaki ok that is about the same way I did mine as well. What I did was use my homemade yogurt and then strained it in a flour sack towel and it was nice and thick. I'll share ours this week..my daughter is going to run to the store for me :). Thank you
+avonleanne yes I do:). Always:). Sometimes I use the sams club card and then keep track of what I spent, then I make Sam's be my last stop and I will pay off the balance at the end of my trip. To get the cash rewards. But sometimes I forget, :)
Hi I'm new subscriber I have been loving your recipies from.your website and videos. I am wondering if the "nacho cheese" you use in your recipes is from the jar or something you make yourself? I'm making the chicken broccoli rice casserole tonight and it's the 1 thing I dont have
+ashley corliss it is from a big can of cheddar cheese sauce like u would put on nachos. U can use like velveeta or if you don't have either how about more cheese and a little chicken bouillon. Sounds weird but it's sort of the same flavors:).
Do you ever loose power? I’d be concerned about loosing all that food/hard work if the power went out for any length of time. Unless you have a generator then you’d be all set! 😊
+Jess Dostie we do:). Especially in the mountains. As long as you don't open it at all for three days it can refreeze up safely we have found. That is the longest we have ever lost power in the summer.
+Mikesha Row yes in the food processor. I made some sandwich spread with it...miracle whip, relish and meat. Put on crackers or bread. I froze the rest for pizza toppings or another samdwich spread :)
Mikesha Row i think she grids cook chicken to and makes sanwich spread...mayo...chicken. Ham ...sounds good..also the ham is cooked and she puts on pizzas and breakfast food with eggs...she keeps me motivated...
+avonleanne yes I know they have chicken breast. I get it at Sam's club for 1.99 a pound. We do have a church that let's you order but I haven't yet. Is that about the same for price? I had looked before and didn't see any other meats I would get, any recommendations?
amy maryon if you like the fb page you’ll see all the specials in real time. Also if you get on the email list you can catch the sales. I believe I got 80# of ground beef for $1.89/lb last summer too
Can you share where you order your bulk from? Is it local? I have been looking for a place to get bulk oatmeal. I live about 30-45 min away just inside SC.
+Sunshine & Rain this is the place we ordered from. You have to have a minimum order but if you call , they might be able to see if there is someone in your area who also orders. www.clnf.org Have u been to bargain barn in Easley? We have gone there a couple of times and they have great deals.
+Sunshine & Rain you need to go. I would go there every week if I could. They have the BEST deals. I have a friend that shops there and then resells the stuff online. It's like a surplus store for Groceries. So u can get really good stuff for super cheap. I walked into that store and I felt like it was Christmas lol. It's well worth going into. :).
I have a suggestion for your family, if your children love sloppy joes and tots. You can make like a casserole with cooked ground meat and sloppy joe sauce at bottom and then tots and ontop of them put shredded cheese and bake. feed them babys! They will love it! My kids do!
If i didnt work there i would buy any kind that was on sell we get to buy them at r company store other then that some cost to much i like all ur videos
Catching up on old videos! Love you guys
Thank u

Where do you buy your plastic food containers that you put in your freezer? I have looked everywhere.
+Tracy Romero amazon. Type in deli pint plastic containers. I believe it's 48 pieces for like $13 or so.
Amy! Did u make that grocery list yourself or is there a template online? If you can just tell me where to start with something like this. Such a timesaver

I'm new here....and i fall in love with your videos!!!!
Big kiss from Croatia!!
+Natasa Hilj :). Hello nice to meet you
Amy, the floor has changed in your pantry. You have built a chest/cabinet on the floor of your pantry. Is that for more storage?
Interesting and helpful video..may I ask how you incorporate fresh fruits and veggies everyday? Thank you.
Just add them and eat
