I cannot stress how much having a coach like this would’ve changed my life as a competitive cheerleader and tumbler. I had some good, supportive coaches who made me feel empowered, but I the majority of my coaches back in the 2000s-2010s were hell on wheels. These people could make you feel like absolute dirt, and it made me not want to give it my all because even that didn’t feel like enough. Coaches like you who build confidence are so important
Agreed! It was the same for me. Its the hype that gives us the most courage and whatever pressure you feel is put on from yourself instead of someone screaming at you on how terrible you are doing.
How did the black girl in the second row spin in a singular spot and land perfectly?!?! PERFECTLY?!?! It’s like she was the perfect height from the ground to place her feet down. That was crazzzy. EDIT: SHE DID A BANGIN JOB. THATS IT, THATS ALL. NEXXXXXXXXT.
@@cinnamontoastcrunch9804 to be fair, someone who’s not used to seeing gymnastics might have not known who they were talking about without that qualifier. I do agree with you though, and in most cases where saying someone’s race isn’t necessary, but I do think this is one of the examples where it actually helped.
Thank you for including the one who couldn’t flip in the video. I relate to her and it’s so important to still feel part of the group so you don’t give up on yourself first.
I’m with you. I didn’t have access to this as a kid. I would love to have my 7 year old body though. She wasn’t afraid of anything. Climbed trees, walked on top of the swings, swung on ANYTHING. ❤
Except that he has them trying to do something that is too difficult for them. They obviously don't yet have the basic fundamentals which would allow them to do such an easy skill. 😢
@Vermontist1 so everyone but one person performs the task without assistance and the young baby even had him hyped...did we watch the same video or did something distract you?
I remember being a Chewrleadwe and our coaches at cheer camp, and even our coach was NOT as motivating as you. Thank you for being a great support mechanism to these kids. ❤
I love seeing people that actually know how to work with and support youth. There are a lot of people in coaching roles that have no business being there.
Been following this coach for years, and you can feel through the videos that ALL his kids are so confident because of him! Even the girl who got nervous, she immediately followed through with a little support from coach, who barely did anything to spot her!!😂 I LOVE seeing these guys accomplish their moves!! I wish I had a coach like this when I was a cheerleader!❤
Okay, but after hearing -"show em how its done, 10 year old!!". Id.....id have to do it with no hands. Id have to go as high as i could. I'd just have to 😂😂
I knew hers looked different but didn’t know what to call what I was seeing. Thanks for laying it out exactly what she did. I did notice that when she landed, her feet landed in front of where she started as opposed to behind her standing point like a lot of the other girls.
I’ve been sayin for years about different situations, and I’ll say it again: Ain’t no better hype than black hype-hits different. Keep doin your thing my man and may God bless and keep awesome students and make them great inspirations for people to do good things🙏🏾👌🏾
Just found your channel love it .. if I ever have kids I’m immediately putting them in activities like this I love it and your energy … wish I could do things like this now 😂
As a fellow man, to be in tune with the young lady that got nervous and how smooth that was. These are the men we need in society. Great job coach. He knew she was nervous and said nothing and didn’t do anything but clap for her doing it ✊🏾❤️🦉💎
I was a cheerleader, long time ago😂, but wow they're good, and it's because of THEIR AWESOME COACH! His voice is just friendly and motivating, I love it! I agree with another's comment, he got over to the girl who froze up, very quickly! I've watched this like 5 times, he's done motivated me to clean up or something😂😂 & love the THANK YOU'S! AND OFC 10 YR OLD, WOW! ❤
Meanwhile my tumbling teacher ruined my tumbling future when she caused 8 year old me to tear two muscles in my back. Keep up the great and safe teaching!❤
These types of videos make me miss the cheering days ❤ I have 3 year old twin girls and when we’re outside I’ll do cartwheels and back handsprings (that’s all I can still do without killing myself on the ground) and they just love it! They just started gymnastics and are in dance so they just get so excited. Now my 15 year old son who plays football always get so embarrassed when I’m tumbling around the backyard with the girls … he likes to remind me that I am 32 years old, which to him is old as dirt, and I could “hurt myself” and that cheerleading ended a long time ago. 😂😂 oh children!! They keep you humble!!
Whenever I see something like this , I remember the athlete who broke his neck while attempting this! His team won a soccer game and in his excitement, he did a back flip and didn’t quite execute it properly which caused his death!
I love how he realized quickly she was nervous and he spotted her, instead of shaming her or something and being like "NEXT"
Solid support is what he is. True leader. I love to see it.
I thought she looked at him like you know you need to get over here so I can continue what you doing looking at me and not already spotting lol
Yess❤❤❤❤
So kind bc my old gymnastics coach would’ve yelled and told me to sit in a corner and shame me if I didn’t lmao
Honestly!!! It's so wholesome and as she masters the skills, she'll look back and remember the patience of a true teacher
Can we just commend how quickly he was there to spot her when she wasn't feeling as confident?
Yes! No words just action. He knows these girls so well it’s amazing
And how as soon as he was there, she was willing and able to get it done
Teamwork makes the dream work
Haya pretty 😊 nice meeting u,am Sadat and you 😊😊😊???
Sorry, I need my hands ✋️

As a cheerleader, we do too
This is too real 😭
Mine hurt just from watching this video lol
for me jumping up from my knees like that is really easy 😭
The way he went to spot her when she froze shows how great of a coach he is!
The way you stepped in to help the hesitant one... PURE LEADERSHIP!❤ they did great.
I can just imagine the last one being to nervous they will mess up 😭
Frrrr 😢😢😢
Real
But she did it!!

I just ❤ positive videos of kids. No fighting, butt shaking, just good old fashion gymnastics class, teacher uplifting everyone ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Those were also the years when people were just meaner in general. Tough love and stuff. I think we've since evolved.
Such a bullshit style of coaching with fear and shame! I’m sorry. It is changing now but it’s SLOW.
why is there a man with this young cheerleading squad?....time and again, problems arise....just the truth....
Jumping up from a knee position, I'd be in the hospital. Screw the flip 😂

They start on knees so they know how their legs should feel when they’re pulling up. Lots of power in this group!

that was always me! so nervous to do it but in the end the spotter barely touched me 😆 usually all about self confidence!
I'm hoping that girl is in gymnastics to gain confidence in her body, because right now she's not at a healthy weight.
But she's doing great!
