Poor Dan. He not only married a monster, she came from a family brimming with them! His parents should get custody of the boys. The ex and her family are definitely poisoning them against Dan and his parents. They killed him but that wasn't enough for them, they have to tell vicious lies about him too.

At 18 I I had a roomate whose dad was involved (pretty seriously) with a woman who not only had FIVE marriages under her belt, but THREE of them died while married to her. The only 2 surviving were the 1st husband from a brief teenage marriage and her 2nd who fathered her children. When our lease was up they were planning on marrying. I lost contact with that roommate but saw her not long ago. I, of course, had to ask if her dad was still with us! Turns out, for SOME reason her dad decided not to marry her & they separated. I think Mr. Wilson may have dodged a bullet (or mysterious heart attack!)

Thank you Southern Girl ! As morbid as it may sound, I always look forward to seeing a new upload by you.
It's hard to imagine a "normal" family getting together to kill someone. It always seem to involve child custody type issues too. They (the family) were smarter than most, but thankfully the investigators did excellent work in getting to the bottom of this.
Quite disturbing to think of that mother who murdered all 5 (?) of her kids, just to get at their father.
Sad to think that Mickey put up such a strong fight, and fate still let her die, and the monster live.
Nice to see an episode where the detectives work hard to solve the case(s).

Another question what kind of selfish person would want to take away something so important to your children as their other parent? Like that’s top level of narcissistic, disturbing selfish behavior. I’m not my exs biggest fan, but he’s a good dad and my son loves him…. To tear something so vital away…. And then cut off the entire family after you did it… complete slap in the face to those children. To deprive them of the love they deserve and the better life they would have had with his parents in it. The level of disgusting human behavior that is. I pray those children are reunited with dans parents and the entire family goes to jail … I don’t even pray but I’m going to start now because that’s how upset I am.

I remember hearing about the Dan Markel case when I moved to Florida. I saw it on a documentary and thought how stupid Katie, Siegred and Luis were. Y’all dummies in jail while the masterminds are out. I remember seeing the footage of the mother and the undercover dude but not the ex-wife’s interview. So damn fake!!
I moved out of state and didn’t hear anymore about it. So, fast forward to last month I’m going in the breakroom at work, and CourtTV is on and who do I see on trial, Charlie Adelson who I thought would never get his day in jail. I didn’t know the outcome until I watched your video.
Good for all of them! Yeah Wendy needs to be next!! That whole family is evil trash. At least DeSantis has done something right by passing that grandparents act.
Thanks for including his story. I of course didn’t know him but I truly believe that he wasn’t the bad person that Wendy made him out to be.
And this case with the mother killing her children. Disgusting and horrible! This is why I don’t understand why some women can have children but end up neglecting and killing them. Then you have women who would love to be a mother and can’t for one reason or another.
    I just don’t get it!

No hate please don’t be offended. I am simply curious.
But why on Earth would you want to have correspondence with a monster like that?
I would try to hunt down the rest of that interrogation to get more of this side of the story. The side of the victim.
But Ive always been curious why people talk to known murders in prison. Is it curiosity? Infatuation? For research?
From your profile picture you look like an absolutely gorgeous young woman. Im just confused 😅 No judgement at all though!! I hope you have a blessed day dear. ❤

    • @amberrodriguez851
      @amberrodriguez851 9 месяцев назад

@@piperatoms5926 you worded that so nicely! Thank you! I hate when ppl decide to get all big in comments… you know?
As for your question… I’m actually penpals with quite a few known mainstream murderers! And I KNOW what they have done! I KNOW they’re super messed up in the head! BUT as someone with mental health problems, I understand they are people too. I understand people mess up. I understand there are two sides to every story. I’m not sure if it’s that I’m obsessed? Or that I want to pick their brain? I just know that if I were in prison, I’d want someone to talk to. I guess it’s all of the above?
Not to mention I like to hear what bullshit excuses they have for doing what they did. Some people have some CRAZY backstory as to why they did or didn’t do what they did. You’d be surprised by the stuff I’ve heard from one woman. Kinda outrageous, but kinda believable. Who knows.
I do have to take breaks from contact with them. It messes up my juju.
I did, however, write Branden an email letting him know his history is still being spoken of after I saw this video. It’s wild.
ALSO! I like to see what they’re doing in prison to change their lives. Right now, or the last time I talked to Branden, he was in school. So good for him. But I don’t think he will ever admit to me that he did it. Any of it. Men are too proud, no offense to any men reading this.
Anyway. Please be safe out there. We live in a crazy, fucked up world. ❤️

Do you have many prison pen pals? One creator Ive seen on here. Im sure there’s more. He just uses his correspondences with murderers to make a living.
What you do is not outlandish to me. And it sounds like it’s completely academic.
My name is Kate irl btw. & I am just generally curious. Ty for not taking offense.

I lived near where Mickey went missing. This was devastating. Her killer, not only, lead the police to her body and took a plea deal (with her families permission) but then tried to appeal it because he didn't like his attorney. They lucked out getting the murder of Lisa Pate included. That one no one saw coming. May he rot in hell, may her family find peace.

Nothing like throwing your brother into the 'suspect' mix in your first police interview, lol.

    1. She threw her brother under the bus right away. It seems like she and her mom were behind the whole ordeal. What a sick, twisted family.
    2. I can't believe Martha was released after killing her children. She should never see the light of day.
Mickey, Rashell, and Stacy. 💔 So young. 😢 Life is so unfair.

I will never understand people who kill a child's parent over child custody. Like, who the eff are you to decide that? Not to mention those children will be devastated & they will hate you for the rest of their lives.

I love your videos. Well made. Your voice unfortunately makes me sleepy and since I have insomnia, I love it. I go to sleep rewatching them. Thanks.
