There is a song Dallas Fraser wrote sung by Jack Greene I used to hear on the radio a lot.. then never heard again. One of those poignant songs that stays with you. Lord is that me..what an amazing song!
music like this in the heats of the old day and the way of leaving was the best. It's sad that the younger generation does not understand all the love and understanding, and true faithfulness of others!!
Again all of them on here aren’t dead, stop assuming things you have no knowledge of! Just cause, only hand full on here are dead, doesn’t mean they all are! Collin Raye is one of them that’s in the majority of them that’s still alive!
I tell you what Jeannie sealed is still tops to me what a voice our band played a gig Saturday 4 a birthday woman was 80 years old our dad we is above 70 except 4 one of us but he is a great musician
Collin Raye's Love Me ALWAYS brings me to tears! I love that song!! It will be played at my wife's (Or mine if I get there before she does) celebration of life to be sure!
I was going to watch the cmt awards tonight but I shut it off really quick and came back to this program thanks for being here for me any for so many others love ❤️ this show.
I just love these shows, they remind me of simpler times. All of these nice people have such common respect for each other, and the country music family traditions. I guess it just makes me feel good, with no pressure. Remember when you were kids and the "adults" were sitting around talking. As a little one, I remember just sitting back and listening to great stories from everyone. That's how this feels. Everyone is so nice, and respectful
Oh my goodness! Great job on There Goes My Everything! I had seen this man on different shows but didnt lnow who he was. Jack singing those songs takes me back to my high school days and the few times that I ever got to go to a restaurant for lunch. I would save a dime or two to play the jukebox and I would play Jack's songs everytime.
This is great, especially since it is not a live or live on tape format show. This encourages and allows visiting and story sharing without the time pressures and constraints of a live or live on tape show format!!! It's absolutely Wonderful 💯 👌
They had been doing this for quite sometime, they started this long before the internet, it got started around in the 80s when, they really were no longer doing all the series of shows on Saturday Nights and, so, they would release a melody of hits on a album and, they would include a Family Reunion On A VHS Tape! If you go back and look,it started out that one the best country music tv’s host began doing them first! Ralph Emery of Course and used to host Pop Goes The Country, then, Nashville Now and, stopped hosting that show, this was the last thing he done and, he would still make a tv appearance here and, there but, nothing that was a constant!
Neal Mccoy live in East Texas in Longview Tx he live right by Pop and Nan and grandson jason always take pop very where just want to. Say hi to Neal Mccoy .it called Pop watch love it to .
There's no music like the 50's and 60's and 70's faron. Both Hanks ray price ,bill Anderson and the hag, web p kitty wells ,Patsy cline and of johnny cash ect.
I love country music, but I think the country music that is out now is more like pop than real country. I like the older people, Jan Howard, Jeanne Sheppard, Patsy Cline, Hawkshaw Hawkins, Del Reeves, Jim Reeves and more of the older country music singers.
Im from the Philippines ,and i love the original country music and i feel sad and sorry that slowly artists and recording companies are tolerating or allowing the mislabeling of the so called new country which to my opinion is a mixture of pop/ folk/ and at times a little twisted rnb.modifications may be allowed but the country sound and i say spirit must always be there.
Your talking like they are no longer alive, when both still are and so, are a lot of others on here, only a handful on this one in particular have passed, again the majority of them are still alive! Don’t assume things you have no knowledge of!
There goes my everything passed in 1994 we bought a little party store on the bank's of White River Michigan if you like to raise a little liquor say one for Barb 😊
My family found out we were kin to Collin on the Hines side here in Duncan oklahoma we are a singing family me and Joe diffie aunt dawn Anita sing and write we have a song western style on radio by the name of driving his cattle home registered with bmi she recorded it and so did I I am gospel singer I go many places to sing
I am going to say this one more time, this one was only recited a few yrs ago, during or before the Pandemic! A majority of them are mostly alive, there is only, only a few handful on this one that have passed! One or 2 died before the Pandemic while the rest of those other few died during the Pandemic, not because, they had Covid,it was mostly do to age and, already existing health issues! Don’t Assume things you have no knowledge of! The guy on the bass guitar passed, Bill Anderson, Jim Ed, Jack Greene, Jean Seely and, Jan Howard, I can say for sure are passed! But, the majority of them are still alive! Gene Watson, he lives in North Carolina and, that is where he is from! I see him playing in his local hometown from time to time through another channel, I watch since, the one girl is a fan of his and, they are also from the some part of North Carolina he is, TG Gram Brown, Jimmy Fortune, The Whites, Ricky Skaggs,Collin Raye, and, a bunch of others on here are still living, if you heard that was Ricky and, Collin, Neal McCoy you did hear Bill Anderson say that was the first time they was on one of those shows, therefore, that tells you they are getting old but, they still are quite young! Again, think a bit first and, stop assuming things you have no knowledge of! If your not sure, do your research first! I mean it’s simple common sense, just cause, it’s a family reunion show, that doesn’t mean every single old timer in Country Music out of Nashville has passed!
My late first cousin's wife always told me she was related to Jack Greene. However she was a Brown. I guess the crayons got mixed up somewhere along the line.
Again, no they aren’t, do your research, a majority of them that were on here are still alive, even though a handful of them that was on here are now passed, no they didn’t die because, they got the Pandemic! One died before the pandemic, the others that died during the pandemic was do to age and other illnesses they were already battling! Common Sense would tell you just cause, a few passed doesn’t mean the all passed at once! Did you not hear that a lot of them were on that recording for the first time, old enough their now old enough to be considered a old timer but, still quite young!
@@sonyafox3271 the ones who are on here aren’t even close to the ranks of the greats who have passed, nor to the few greats who are still alive, but not in this show. Give your head a shake. Maybe you need to do some research on country music. 😂
I dont think alot of singers you wont see them i n heaven i think theres a b I g surprise awailing for me to. But ive read some of the Bible and people are going to be surprises.
A friend who lives here in Duncan oklahoma tha played with Mac c Wiseman billy joe foster buck white I have a recording of buck Bill Davis at bucks house in 1959 in Wichita falls Texas I have played with Bill Davis 4 many years Bill is not doing well
I agree Marty Robbins let's get back to real Country Alan Jackson/Mo Pitney very few real country left let's have songs with a beginning middle and an end
Who is the camera and soundsperson they need a new job..the sound was crap and distorted and can they no zoom in on the box and you can't really see anything more so when it gets darker
I think that Gene Watson needs to be in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Gene is from Paris, TX.
Hard to believe that in 12 years or so about a third of these artist are gone. How sad that so many of these great legends are gone
Fell in love with Country Music listening to songs & music coming from Nashville & included many in later performances. Tip G
I fell in love with country music back in 1955 when I first heard Hank Williams.@@JuniperLake44
I was looking at the group of people thinking the same thing
Sad to realize so many are gone but makes me more grateful for videos. ❤
These people were real country. Not like the phony bs they try to.passs of as country today.
I love these people. Dallas Frazier was something special.
Love to hear Gene Watson, he's the best country music singer
Dallas Frazier was one heck of a songwriter
I REALLY ENJOY THESE REUNION SHOWS AND BIIL ANDERSON DOES A REAL GOOD HOSTING IVAN FROM ILLINOIS,
Dallas Frazier pure magic, the country music today is lacking something, they should go back to there roots, god bless all regards from Scotland
Does anyone else besides me seem to think Dallas meant it was a revelation instead of revolution ? Just wondering. 🙂
The kids in so called country music today can only dream of the talent, and careers the people in that room have.

I love Gene Watson. His voice is wonderful ❤
Good stuff!
I loved everything George recorded. He was a natural when it come to country music. I just love George Jones.
And, if you look George Jones was not on here and, was already passed long before this one was ever taped!
I tell you what Jeannie sealed is still tops to me what a voice our band played a gig Saturday 4 a birthday woman was 80 years old our dad we is above 70 except 4 one of us but he is a great musician
Jeannie Seely not Sealed! Not a he, she! I mean can you not tell the difference between a man and a woman? Lol
Colin Raye should still be singing on the radio, DJ’s are just not doing enough for real country music.
Collin Raye's Love Me ALWAYS brings me to tears! I love that song!!
It will be played at my wife's (Or mine if I get there before she does) celebration of life to be sure!

Good 😢
You got that right!
I'm with you.!!!!
I love these song writer and country singers, one thing missing what dates were these Episodes were record
I loved Jack Greene's rendition of This One Belongs to me. Heard him tell the backstory once but cant find it now. Very touching.
Jack Greene is so loveable.
We miss him so much.❤
Jeanie Sealy sings the hell out of "Ode to Billy Joe."
Awesome ❤ it

The young singers they can sing but they dont put their feelings in t he song.
I crave the air dates and they won’t ever give it to me. I think it’s part of their formula.
I just became a Gene Watson fan after that song.
Collin Raye is fantastic!!
@ the very end, Ol' T Graham throwin' some Gene's way was so funny!
Your talking like they are no longer alive, when both still are and so, are a lot of others on here, only a handful on this one in particular have passed, again the majority of them are still alive! Don’t assume things you have no knowledge of!
@@sonyafox3271 I think you replied to the wrong post.
There goes my everything passed in 1994 we bought a little party store on the bank's of White River Michigan if you like to raise a little liquor say one for Barb 😊

I agree😮😮
In what year were these shows recorded? Every time I wiki someone they have passed almost every time.

. So much of your comment is wrong.
Gene Watson was born in Palestine, Tx.
Bill Anderson has not passed.
Jeanne Seeley has not passed.
I do t like all of the new country but most of it I do like
Raymond Scott Havel ❤
Todd Tilghman sings "Love, Me" better than Collin Raye even does! Most underrated country singer within the last four and a half(ish) years!
Ole Country is still the best,.. I do not listen to the now racket,. WILLIES ROAD HOUSE
I agree with you completely. 💯 Willie's Roadhouse and Wam Radio, especially in the evenings with Jeff Hogue are my go toys for real country music 🎶
Sorry,, I meant to say Wsm Radio
Good old country music the stuff today is just awful
My late first cousin's wife always told me she was related to Jack Greene. However she was a Brown. I guess the crayons got mixed up somewhere along the line.
How sad - very little real talent there. The great ones are all gone. 😢

I like Gene Watsons 14 carat mind
I think it's not what it use to be.i don't like it's turning into. I think the good songs are old out dated
