Today we got to check out a completely stock Trek Marlin 6 bike and an identical but slightly modified Trek Marlin with some modifications.
If you have a mountain bike that you want to upgrade there is no better way than to find some budget parts to improve your ride. In this video I'll show you what was done to make this Trek Marlin 6 mountain bike feel like a completely new ride!
Microshift makes two great budget group sets one is a Advent 9 speed, and the other the Advent X is a 10 speed. Both of them are phenomenal quality group sets for the money. Especially if you want to move from a 3x8 to a 1x9 or 1x10 for better gearing and free up for a dropper seat post.
