@@ajsmovieplace That Blu-ray release is in fact an "SD on Blu-ray" release. So, there's no upgrade in video quality. It's just DVD quality, but on a Blu-ray, so they can fit more episodes on a single disc. This way everything fits on just 3 discs, instead of 21 discs. You're just paying more money to get a slimmer case with less discs.
I only bought the blu rays because the Dvds were no longer available the time life set is now stupidly overpriced whenever it shows up on Ebay and the new ones volumes 1 - 10 aren't complete there are 13 episodes missing so the blu ray was the only way to get the complete series and also with the new sets you get the stupid Dave Coulier crap Bill Murray Impression voice even in the first 3 seasons as they redubbed them to get rid of Lorenzo Music's original Peter Venkman

There is a Blu-ray version ( US ) but it’s nit different in quality as all eps are crammed over a few discs.
Ok now I'm definitely going to have to add The Real Ghostbusters to my collection. Great video as usual AJ

I got this same series coming on blu ray. All of it fits on 3 blu ray discs. Takes up a lot less space.

The SD on Blu-ray is a disaster, Sent mine back. Motion Artifacts in every episode. This isn’t present on the DVD version. They terribly screwed up
So I made the right choice with dvd set then !
