I wont disagree that its harder than FL, however now you get a grid on the playfield to help with memorization. I think people who are already good at FL might actually find this easier since you have a reference point.
@@theyellowk123 with FL you get feedback on where the object is when you hit it since the flashlight itself follows you around. with blinds, you dont get any feedback. you have to rely 100% on the grid.
@@Astrqx yea airman dt with eyes closed is pretty hard but sometimes he pops off with eyes closed also, since he would know his cursor's position, the blinds mod is actually doable because he's played the map so much his aim isn't off by much with his eyes closed
I think a better mod is to just make the notes entirely invisible, but you can still see the hit feedback (300, 100, 50 or miss) which would tremendously smooth out the learning process. Also it should disable any foreground skin elements. Not 100% sure how best to handle sliders though.
I was thinking the same thing. Make it like performance mode from Guitar Hero. The notes, sliders, slider ticks, follow points, spinners etc don't show up, but you still have to play it like normal. You can have HUD on if you want, and hit feedback appears too. I think it would be fair for its multiplier to be slightly greater than or equal to hdfl multiplier, and you can't put on HD, like how you can't put on HR and EZ or AP/RX and AT.
I feel like the 3* diff of the same song would do you better since it is AR8 it is easier to aim. Even though it has more notes it is easier to go with the flow
@@honmi i would like to give it a try but my osu lazer doesn't allow me to play the game in exclusive fullscreen which makes me have random ms spikes which is big pain. Also i played the 2* 3mod (SS), 3* (SS hd dt), 4* (S hd) so i feel like muscle memory would kick better for me. Also since the 3* is ar8 (which is the AR i am most comfortable with) it would be faster to adapt (since i am a HD main) it would reduce some of the difficulty
I don't like blinds mod, honestly. I think it would be better if it was more like performance mode in Guitar Hero. All the score and multiplier stuff are visible, but the notes themself don't appear. The moving blinds distract me, and I think blackness, regardless of my HP would be better. Also, same multiplier as FL?
