An outstanding rendition of "Ae Ri Sakhi Morey Khwaja Ghar Aaye" from the Sep 2014 ghar ki mehfil that keeps giving.
This channel brings the unique and intimate gatherings of qawwali rather than the large concert setting. A whole other mood that is original in it's presentation and reflects the traditional give and take up close and personal.
The start is at a high scale and then slowly comes down to include many beautiful elements including girahs, taankari and finally a lovely tarana.
There are several points that are noteworthy for example at 5.06 when Ayaz brings down the intensity and transforms the recital into something classical, then at 9.04 introducing nit kyon bole papiha morey piya ke baen, again at 14.15 Abu changes the pace and twist and turns the tarz like play dough :-) and finally the amazing tarana at 16.28 with beautiful embellishments by Moiz and Hamza
