Nice to see you! I find the background music distracting. I like listening to the two of you and you don’t have to fill the natural pauses between your conversation with sound. Bought your cookbook for my daughter so she can cook like Babcia. ❤
Finally, a real polish food channel. I'm from Michigan where we have a thriving Polish community and the food in the restaurants are wonderful, however, too far from where I live. So now I can't wait to give some of your recipes a try.
My Grandfather was from Poland and I miss the food he showed my Grandmother how to make . I am really thrilled to have found your channel and will be eagerly learning from you . ❤
After WWII,.my friend Isabella's family fled Poland and wound up in Texas. Her grandmother, Babi, would make these for her when she was a little girl. Decades later, her eyes roll back in her head as she rhapsodizes about how delicious they were. Now I get it! She's coming to dinner tonight, so I'll surprise her and get massive brownie points. I will admit I was as nervous as Mark was when you brandished that scimitar and started talking "whack" like a headsman! Sammy is a cutie!
So happy to see overseas military happiness. I'm retired Army and love seeing how overseas relations work out between individuals. God Bless! Also: love the ink!!!!
I just found your channel and subscribed. I have watched the most resent video and then I love watching the 1st one you put out. This is to see how you have grown over the years.
How interesting. I wish that my husband was still alive, I would have loved to see his face when I made all your wonderful recipes. His grandparents were from Poland, he learned a lot from his grandmother . One year while we were in Malta he flew to Poland for the weekend on Ryan Air, he brought me back these wafers and in the middle they had plum preserves. Oh my goodness, they were out of this world.
I love the eggs, very was wondering how it would hold together. I love it! Also I liked the music in the background it was perfect not too loud. I think it was great all the way around. Can't wait for the next one. 😊 🙋♀️
I have made these out of memory of my mother's cooking for years, but never realized that you use an egg yolk instead of a TBSP of mayonnaise! I do remember her sprinkling paprika on top after the bread crumbs, but I never bother to do that. My family LOVES these.. thank you!
Just stumbled across your channel, and it was like going home. Not Polish, but grew up in Pittsburgh, wich is about as close as it gets. Later moved to Baltimore, which had a small Polish community, but there was slim pickins for good kielbasa. Later moved to the country, where we raise our own pigs (and eggs, mushrooms, etc.), so I can now make my own, but my recipes have been lacking. Looking forward to learning a lot more. 😊
What a great idea of slicing the egg in the shell and reshuffling it! I cannot wait to try this! I love your matter of fact explanation and presentations.
Hi Anna! Easter 2024 is tomorrow and I just made these for my contribution to the family meal. I find stuffed eggs are always a favorite when taken to any party or event! The first bite of these warm beauties was, "WOW" ! Then my brain was thinking...smoked oysters, a bit of crispy bacon, spinach...(maybe not Polish, but OH! Yes! So many possibilities!)
The box set just came, the chocolate is terrific and my kids are very excited also. My little ones are already picking out recipes they want to make- I have family in Northern Poland
Everything you make looks so delicious that my mouth waters and I know that I will be learning to make a new dish. Thanks for being a great teacher and sharing you recipes.
Love it thank you! Like your husband I am Polish by marriage and learning about the food and culture. ❤ sorry had to add I asked my wife what is it about beautiful Polish women US Soldiers…
I made these last year and the family loved them. I love that we have another Polish item to add to our Easter Tradition. (wasn't part of our tradition when I was young.) Thank you
First time to watch your show. Love to learn new cooking ideas. My family came from Romania 🇷🇴 . 🇩🇪 love those foods. Pretty sure will love Polish cooking too
Anna, Not to change the subject, But I made eight pounds of your Easter kielbasa for Easter and I was blown away . i come from connecticut where there are a lot of polish people and your kielbasa is just like they make .I AM A HAPPY CAMPER !!!!! Skip in North Carolina
My grandfather cut my great grandfather off due to his views on my grandmother being a divorcee with a child. I never grew up with Polish culture and I’m learning about it now, at 29. There aren’t very many people cooking Polish food, so thank you for sharing! I’m currently learning Polish and trying to navigate my way into some sort of culture with cooking. I live in a very small town with no Polish people (they do not appreciate having to constantly say my last name), and going to Poland is a bucket list item of mine. For now, I’m hoping to give my kids a little bit more info on where they come from than I had! Thank you for sharing so much!
Love your channel, but the music in background was too disturbing. Watching you from Laguna Beach CA. Keep up the great recipes and episodes🏄♀️🏄♀️🐳🐳😎😎🍻🍻💕💕
FINALY , I was born in 1960 I remember my mom made eggs just as those. Took me till now to find the recipe of the flavors . She also made Pierogi stuffed with potato and I think it was cottage cheese I miss those flavors of my childhood. My father immigrated from Warsaw Poland as a child in 1942 and my Mother from Ireland. However, My grandparents on my fathers side taught my mom how to cook many Polish dishes. stugenina I remember as well it was a gelatin stuffed with pork we put vinegar on it as a dressing
I always enjoy watching you two, whether cooking or exploring. This is a recipe I've not heard of before and I look forward to trying it. Please reconsider using repetitive background music in the future. I'd rather just hear the fry pan sizzle or Anna humming something. Na Zdrowie!
Great video and recipe. Definitely want to try that -- though I'd like to make patties, heat them up then put it between 2 pieces of toasted sour dough bread. But I really like the idea of the egg and mushroom combo! And I just moved out of Illinois -- so I get it!! 🙂
I think I should try this egg dish,so thank you.Perhaps you might find it easier to cut the shells with a serrated knife, like a bread knife,I have trimmed hard cookies with one of those without breaking the cookie.
Wonderful video! As usual you make it looks so easy and I ask myself why did cooking intimidate me?! I agree with an earlier comment, the music was annoying. (Sorry). Have you gotten all settled in to the new home?
Pozdrawiam z Rzymu twoja rodaczka ze Szczecina. EWA Ja na kanale robie kuchnie wloska w szczególnosci ,gdyz mieszkam w Rzymie i mam męża Włocha. Kuchnia wloska jest zdrowa, szybka i smaczna. Pozdrawiam Twoja amerykańską ridzinę. Ewa
Absolutely love polish and Ukrainian food, found out from my dna test i have those in my dna 😆 my moms uncle had a restaurant in washington specializing in eastern European food. His golabki with pork ribs was his specialty.
We make canola in Canada too! Canola was created in Canada, and the name comes from “Canada” and “ola”, denoting oil. It was created from crossbreeding rapeseed plants. 🙂
I thank you for the tip of not using egg shells. As I think this would be a wonderful dish for my church group. As over half of them are older than my 71 years, and poorer eye site than I. I would like this to be a positive yummy 16:26 experiance.
Awww! I wanted to see Sammie eat her bite. Who is the happy harasser in the background? I’m new to your channel from Springfield, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest.
Why this dish is called "Polish style" ? I am from Lithuania and my family was cooking eggs in egg shells for every family celebration for ages - one of favorite recipes. My father who is in his 80s remembers his grandmother cooking eggs that way. I am making eggs in egg shells at least 8 time a year. Thought we are not adding any mushrooms and do not dip eggs in bread crumbs and we are cutting the eggs very finely - (even when we had no food processor). I can imagine my grandmother screaming here "no mashing!!!". One more advice - after baking, while eggs are still warm you need to clean egg shells with paper towel - none likes greasy eggs.
Nice to see you! I find the background music distracting. I like listening to the two of you and you don’t have to fill the natural pauses between your conversation with sound. Bought your cookbook for my daughter so she can cook like Babcia. ❤

Welcome!! Hope you stick around! There is plenty to explore! We’ll be visiting MI again this summer, maybe we can meet up! ☺️
@@PolishYourKitchen stupid question here...do you eat the shell?

I would be nice to have it for Easter. You have your greens or you set your eggs on just like a nest
I’m in Tasmania, and one of my best friend’s parents are from Poland and Serbia. They know how to cook! As do you!

Looks yummy! I hope I can be as successful in cutting the egg shells 😮. As a Cheesehead, I totally get the hesitation on commenting about Illinois 😂
😄😄🥰
thanks

In the U.S. for store bought eggs you can take a drop of food grade mineral oil and coat them to re-seal them.
a definite must, Thank you. Just ordered your book. You must be international...shippiing was wacko but still, I'm am excited.
Yes, we ship from Poland! 😍 thanks for watching and ordering, it supports our channel greatly!
You're welcome....I also ordered a pierogi cutter today frm Amazon @@PolishYourKitchen

Can u send me a recipe for red beet soup? My granny made the best , ,but recipe was lost! T.y.
I'm a retired Executive Chef & I was appalled when I saw you drinking your coffee over a pan of mushrooms sauteing......😮😮😮😮
😁 the beauty of home cooking
Hahaha! Coffee 💕
I know that in Europe, the stores all have their eggs outside of the refrigerator on shelves. They don’t look dirty and they don’t spoil.
I just love you 😍
I thank you for the tip of not using egg shells. As I think this would be a wonderful dish for my church group. As over half of them are older than my 71 years, and poorer eye site than I. I would like this to be a positive yummy 16:26 experiance.
Mmmmmm 😋 😅 except adding the horseradish... LOL
your cutting the shell into the egg ..wouldnt peeled be better?
Awww! I wanted to see Sammie eat her bite.
Who is the happy harasser in the background?
I’m new to your channel from Springfield, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest.
It’s my husband Mark, I hope you watch some of our “Kitchen’s Closed” episodes. He’s a hoot! 😁
Do you think your husband would wear a microphone also? I liked to hear what he is sharing. There is an echo when he is across the kitchen. 12:41
🤩
