Great Job Gary, I have a 1/48 Doriner 335 and will likely do it up in a captured scheme. I like what you did with your paint job.
Thanks Gary....tis kit has been in and out of my Hannants basket for yonks......time to commit an order I think....greetings from Oxford, UK
Good call with the capture markings Gary looks much better than it would have in Luftwaffe bit of a fiddly kit but well worth it because of it's unusualness 👍
Another cracking Luftwaffe crazy aircraft build Gary! 😱👌 You always end up with a lovely looking model, no matter how rare or dodgy the fit and manufacture. Awesome paint job too, really looks the dogs doo-dahs! Actually quite impressed with the kit considering it's a low pressure, low run. Top work that man! 👍👍
Thanks Bobby!
Interesting, a bit like an aerial motorbike and sidecar!
Love the work Gary!
Great job Gary. Strangely got me musing on P-38's in the tropics. Cheers!
Nice job you have made there Gary i wander what was the thinking behind this aircraft any way happy modelling old boy 👍
I do like the stranger Luftwaffe things 👍🏼
Nicely done Gary
Me too - got one or two more oddities to come...
Currently building an A model Jetstream atm and I'm seriously impressed with the fit. Taking into account the horror stories one has heard of short run kits, it does seem some manufacturers have invested some money into the technology to producing some really nice kits.
As always enjoyed watching the build and love the captured colour scheme!
Best wishes and congratulations on the first cemented kit of the year! 👍👍
A proper odbod nicely put together and a nice paint job, welll done Gary.👍
Interesting subject. Nice build.
good build nice kit keep up the cool kits and builds thanks lee
Will do Lee!
So impressed with the finish glad it turned out ok
Wonder which aircraft would have won a dogfight the twin 109 or the twin mustang
Gary, you’ve made a twin ME-109. Any thought about building an F-82 Twin Mustang? They are to find, but they are avaiable
No reason why not if I can find one!
Hi Gary.. re the canopy fit - which seems like a rookie error by the designer - could you instead of cutting the fuselage to fit instead scribe the clear canopy itself? There looks to be a frame line that would fit. Or is the clear plastic too brittle / hard to work with?
Angles in general. Watching a few Airfix Starter Set videos they use a cut off box corner point as a glue applicator. The thought occurs that a piece of card from a box cut at an angle could be put against say both undercarriage legs to get the angles the same. Makes life a lot easier than judging by eye :)
Perhaps a silly question but did they actually bother having markings on the inside fuselages that wouldn't be visible (at all from the sides) anyway?
Pov America: makes the f-82
Pov Luftwaffe: I want one too
Germany we have it at home f-82 at home
The f-82 at home Messerschmitt Bf-109Z
