It was a wonderful gesture from Vajpayee and I honestly think that the ridiculous issue of Kashmir would also have been completely resolved during that lahore trip... The kargil incident was clear evidence that Pakistani establishment did not want peace with India and would always use Kashmir as a scapegoat to ensure hatred and division

Your comment degrade Pakistanis as living in a fantasy land. India haters are present on Pakistani side but Pakistan haters are also present in India. No Pakistani inherently hates Hindus. That is just shown on media and that too when something happens to the Hindus or their temples. Pakistanis are not full of hatred and neither do they want warfare. I genuinely enjoyed my trip and one thing which was even clearer was that they took excellent care of their historical and tourist sites, much better than in Pakistan. As far as I can remember, not a single bad experience. Everyone was really really nice. I came to realize that most propaganda is just the media and politicians who spread hate. The actual people are sooo welcoming.

My son had shown me a Wildlens video of Abrar's visit to India, since than I'm seeing his Indian travelogue whenever free.
Since my family is from Madras/Chennai and Hyderabad Daccan, I had chance to visit my neighboring country. I been there in 1989 while I was a college student.
I, too, found that, in general, people there treated us well when they got to know that we were from Pakistan. I along with my son and daughter had applied for visa in 2017. There was a family event n relatives from many countries had gathered in Chennai. To our utter disappointment our visas were refused.
I wish people from both sides be able to visit each other easily. General public on both sides isn't hostile, few exceptions do exist but if people get a chance to visit, many misconceptions may cease.
I still long to visit India, specially after seeing Abrar's videos.
I ask Abrar to visit Chennai in your next visit to India. People there are educated, simple and law abiding. The cuisine is tempting and environmental is peaceful.

When you started, your focus was on places and landmarks. However, as the journey began to unfold, you made a shift and made your visit people-centric. One tiny clarification- Abrar ji had so much love from Indians because in his videos he comes across as a very simple and nice human being-people wanted to meet Abrar, the person. I dont think today people give so much currency to meeting a "Pakistani". If Junaid bhai were to come to India, it is because we recognise the essential no-nonsense free thinking Junaid the person. Also India has had a tradition of respecting talent and performers. Even our own RUclipsrs receive a lot of love and appreciation. The crowds outside Mannat and the people in Abrar's meet up are part of the same culture of respect for people with talent and appreciation. Absolutely!!! Now just because their economy got collapsed and they're in a situation where they need to borrow daily to meet their expenses, they're singing these love songs and advocating for peace with India. The day Pakistan achieves stability in economy with comfortable foreign exchange reserves, they'll again increase their jihadi operations. It is in best interest for India to completely isolate itself from Pakistan for its internal peace and stability.

    • @berzerius

When Abrar spoke about Taj Mahal Being closed for Namaz, You mentioned that oo ya at the same time they do Maintenance. Bhai speaks about how great that is that the Indian Govt/Hindu Govt gives freedom to all Minorities to practice their religion. Taj Mahal is closed for the convenience of Muslims, so they are not disturbed while doing Namaz. Maintenance is always done whether it is closed or open.
