We as "Audiophiles" expect much and no need to explain our Mindsets. Truth be said, it is what makes this hobby such a pleasure - with all the factors involved, Acoustic Sounds is to be complimented for producing an exceptional product at a reasonable investment ! Thank you, Michael, as always for your reviews and honest feedback.

Just waiting for my copy of lamb lies down to arrive…I’ve been very impressed with the two I have already..face value and selling England by the pound. The one I’m looking forward to the most is welcome to my nightmare by Alice cooper next year. Merry Christmas 🎄 to everyone on this channel.

I fully agree with your observation of this release of The lamb. I also have the 1st UK press (by George Peckham), the 1st Japanese RJ-5162/5163 (unfortunately could not find the promo copy of this release), the Hot Stamper LP graded A++ from Better records company (actually also 1st UK press) and the Box set 1970-1975. So what can I say. Atlantic 75 copy of The Lamb is a Masterpiece. So many new sound details, superior clarity etc. I know every note, every chord of each song. So indeed, I could not believe my ears when I put it on an needle. I would say that this release is a real Graal of the music. Never before the sound of The Lamb was presented like on this copy. It's not simply better, it's but much, much more better. It is perfect.

My og copy of that Phil Collins album has been in my "free to good home" pile for about 2 years, i pulled it out the other day to listen to it because of this reissue and it went straight back there, it sounds great but how does anyone listen to that music?
Life isn't long enough to listen to albums like that.

Thank you Michael for all the great videos this year and look forward to the 2024 releases , we know most of the Atlantic 75 s to come , can't wait to what the direction of the uhqr will take , 3 Steely Dan's to come and I guess John Coltrane Ballads but the rest a mystery. Maybe some more announcements 👍😁😁

You are right, Michael. Bad Company 75th anniversary is a knockout. Music and sonics are phenomenal. The dynamics will shock you. You will need a quality amp with some muscle as it is best appreciated at a healthy volume level. Thanks for reviewing these wonderful albums.

Happy Christmas, Michael. A few of these Atlantic 75th IMHO a very close to competing with some UHQRs in quality. That 4 disc lamb box is an absolutely stunning.

    Great review video Michael.
    Fantastic December releases for sure.
The Lamb so happy it’s a winner.
Played the Uk Og last night, and I agree it does sound slightly veiled .
Having recently bought a Nm Uk of the PC I had a feeling it would be close as there is so much punch on the Og.
But runs out of gas towards of each side.
The 45 rpm format takes care of this.
Bad Company unbelievable sounding original both the Uk & US have TML in the dead wax in theory should be similar sounding.
Hats off to Ryan K taking on this challenge.
    Michael,have a wonderful Christmas,
Thank you & take care ✊🎄🎄🎄

Yeah your feelings about Bad Co were mine as well. It's an album I've spun so many times and to hear it kick me in the face like that was awesome. I played it twice in a row. Excited that AP has shown they can do it with rock. STP can't come soon enough!

Thank you Michael and Happy Holidays! Excited to hear that the Bad Company record is killer sounding. I grew up listening to that album on vinyl. Just got my Atlantic 75 copy and will take a listen over this holiday weekend. This is going to be an awesome series. It is unfortunate that we won't see any Led Zeppelin remasters in this series. I'm guessing it must because the band now controls the masters and they have their own label.

I just listened to my Lamb last night and wow! I don’t have an OG, but at this stage I’d rather have a brand new Analogue Productions 45 copy anyway. What an achievement they have made with this series!

Preordered the whole series. These records are my era. Classic. Too bad they stuck with the "75" theme for number of titles. Easily they could have done double the amount and still only scratch the surface. Many titles chosen are fantastic, many are missing. I'm grateful for what they've done.

I agree with you for the most part. However with my comparison, I did find the vocals in the US porky to be slightly more prominent relative to the rest of the mix. However it was only noticeable with an immediate back and forth. However the clarity dynamics, imaging and the soundstage of the A45 was so much better than the Porky that it was probably a mastering choice in the original. Happy Holidaze Michael!

Hi Michael, I have one specific question about the Atlantic 75 series. I've heard some rumors that the Manassas double album (released in 1972) will be reissued. It is currently available in The Netherlands on an early 90s remaster CD, but the '09 Rhino vinyl (US) and Back 2 Black (EU) vinyl are out of print for awhile. Being a classic Atlantic title, do you see it being included in the 75 series, as SACD, 45RPM or both? I'm foremostly looking forward to the Crosby, Stills and Nash couch album 45RPM in the upcoming month. Plus the Deja Vu (SACD/2LP) and Buffalo Springfield titles. And not to forget Foreigner's Double Vision. In my opinion, Analogue Productions are the cream of the crop, in every way possible. All the best for 2024 and thanks for the great videos in 2023! ~Marjet

I’ve listened to the Phil Collin’s & Bad Co 75th releases and was not impressed because I found that both UK 1st pressings still has that coherence & punch! The only saving grace about the 75th releases is that they have quieter backgrounds with a little more detail.

Was the new Lamb reissue actually pressed from the 2008 re-mix? If so, the remix did sound a lot better than the original mix. That would affect the sound.

Hi Michael is there any chance you could review the up coming Atlantic 75 Otis Redding record The Soul Album? I recently discovered the album and bought the 2017 Volt 180g release but am really tempted by the Atlantic press. What an incredible album it is!

I agree with you on the Lamb Lies Down but just cannot agree re Bad Company. I have just received my copy and have been less than impressed. It is as if there is a very thin veil pulled over the music. AR used a "flat copy" of the Master Tape which effectively means the product is drawn from a secondary source and it shows. I have a UK first pressing and that first pressing is quite simply superior.
