    The beautiful thing about static x is that their riffs are simple. Just because music isnt complicated doesn't mean it isnt great, and wayne static perfected that.

      I remember in a interview Wayne said the guitar was always written last to add a heavy rhythm to round the sound out. Still one of my favorite bands ever.

      @@SA8TER21 Exactly. Yes bands like Tool have a lot of complex rhythms. But sometimes you need to headbang to some heavy ass rhythms.

    Wayne Static was very influential to me as a young player, dude played a super unique style with the most basic power chords, RIP.

    Brilliant bro, wasn't expecting this at all. I have been listening to Static-x quite a lot lately. Wayne literally introduced a different kind of music genre , what they call ..EVIL DISCO..
    But you need to definitely do a second part of this which should include..
    Destroyer
    Terminal
    Skinnyman

      I thought destroyer was lame. Compared to the rest of the album it's lame. Really wish the solo to behemoth was on here. Pretty much have to learn it by ear

      @@nolter3078 for sure! the difference between drop c and standard C is especially noticeable when playing the harmonics in a few songs on Wisconsin Death Trip, like Sweat of the Bud or Trance is the Motion.
