Static-X is the band that I keep forgetting about but maybe once in a year I'll have something that reminds me of them and I'll go listen to their discography for a whole week. Love the band. I didn't expect you guys to do this video, but it's really appreciated!
And they’re back! Wayne Static is a legend here in Michigan. I attended the Everything Is Fucked Tour in Detroit. Twas fucking awsome! First time seeing the entire lineup. Thanks for doing what you do!
I seen them in Grand Rapids with Slayer and Pantera. Fricken Slayer fans were throwing stuff at them and they almost walked off stage. Luckily they didn't and put on a great show.
Static-X was my first metal concert when I was a wee little lad at age 12. Always have enjoyed the overall feeling of their music, even if its very simplistic (in terms of playing) its quite a juicy layer cake to enjoy.
I never thought you guys would do a Static-X video but I loved it! LOVE Static-X! I was lucky enough to catch them at the last Ozzfest (before Wayne passed) and hope to see them again in their newest incarnation. You guys did great as always, Love the new Myserion (IDK the spelling by heart yet lol that may be incorrect). Met Dean in Brooklyn for the VIP! (I was late AF! Best wishes, you're both amazing!
I never got the change to see them live with Wayne, but have seen them twice with Xero! I definitely recommend catching them if you ever get that chance
Was at the same meet and greet. (Were you part of the couple that came in after we all got in?) It really was a great time. And loud AF when we sang the lyrics for one of their upcoming new songs. Glad you made it 🤘🏼
I saw Wayne on his last tour, maybe the fourth to last show. They played Wisconsin Death Trip for the anniversary in its entirety and then some other songs after. His wife was also there, leading several toasts throughout the night. It is a tragedy what happened to them both. I am so glad whenever his music is highlighted, thank you both.
I love Static-X. I think their album "Wisconsin Death Trip" is the only one I bought based solely on the name and cover of the album. I was and am so happy I stumbled upon it! Great episode of 4 Levels....and the thumbnail is EPIC!
Just so you know it is still worth going to see them. I just saw them for the first time since Wayne passed. It was a great show. Imo they are so respectful of Wayne I would definitely go see them again.🤘
Thank you both for this🖤 Static-X has been a part of my life since middle school. This means alot to me. The Evil Disco lives on🖤 Rest in Power Wayne and Tera Static🖤🖤🖤
I didn't give a shit about Static-X until I happened to see them at a festival while they were touring for Cult of Static. They blew me away. An absolutely stellar performance. I've been a fan ever since.
Wayne was the epitome of not being a master guitarist, but a master of what he does with the guitar. The dude could play, but he always kept it catchy, crunchy, and simple.
3:35 and 7:00 Pretty cool the first two songs she chose had video game connections. "Otsegolation" was the background song to Omega Boost's start menu. "Anything But This" was featured on the Resident Evil (movie) soundtrack.
Glad to see someone enjoying Static-X as much as I do. 1 particular riff tho that I think more ppl should pay attention to and learn is for their song Stingwray. It's sick AF and the song itself has a rly nice bounce and groove.
I wish I had the chance to see Static-X when Wayne was alive, but I did see them earlier this year when they toured with Sevendust, and they fucking kill it live. So much energy, so loud, and just a ton of fun.
Back in I think 2001 I discovered Static-X and at that time my first serious guitar purchase was going to be influenced by Wayne or Dan Donegan from Disturbed. I had NO idea how to identify guitar brands at the time but I ended up with an Epiphone Gothic Explorer back in 2003. Obviously inspired heavily by Wayne and him playing a Gibson Gothic Explorer, especially from the I'm With Stupid video. I still have that Explorer to this day. I remember those pre-RUclips days of downloading Static-X videos off of Kazaa, Limewire, etc just to see live videos and try to learn their music. The Cold performance on Last Call with Carson Daly specifically along with their early Ozzfest performances, and The Only performance on ABC. Disturbed, Static-X, Kittie, KoRn, Flaw, etc were all bands I found in the pre-RUclips days and I'm so thankful for it. I'm also so thankful I got to see Static-X a handful of times before Wayne passed. Still one of my biggest vocal/guitar influences to this day 🥹🖤
Love static-x, great thumbnail, i have the same keisel build as claire saved on keisel, havent ordered it yet but its pretty much same except inlays are different. Love that green and black combo
Wisconsin Death Trip was the heaviest thing i had ever heard at 11 years old in 1998. I remember loving the fk out of Machine too, get to the gone is fucking mind blowing, that song used to scare me! OMG she is hilarious (You've been around the bush a couple times, LMFAO!) I cannot even, you guys are comedic gold, power couple of the highest order, much love and respect for you both!
Hell yes on busting out "Obselegation" right out the gates! Heard the song in my childhood when I played an old PS1 game called OMEGA BOOST. This banger was literally the background music for the final boss fight. 🤘🤘
Thanks for this video! Static-X is one of my all-time fav bands. Never saw them live with Wayne unfortunately but I did bring my son and daughter to see Static-X live in 2020?
Who doesn't like Static-X! Gotta say that I had no interest in their new stuff... I did not mind at all that they resurrected the band after Wayne died. Also didn't mind that the new vocalist goes for the exact same look. But I wasn't interested in the new music. [in big reveal intonation:] Until now! Will check out those recent evil disco albums after this vid. Side note: my mood has been crap and this video picked me up - as expected, I must say. So thank you, Lambs!
Mixing different sayings together actually has a name. It's called a "Malaphor". And I did it so often on purpose that I sometimes do it involuntarily now. XD
I really have always related to the opinion that the simple, yet catchy, groovy riffs are so tough to know when it's right. I feel like it was easier when I was a less experienced guitar player. Also... you can truly feel Claire's appreciation/crush she has on someone here 👀😂
thank you for introducing me to more static-x songs. i basically only know 3 songs. the only, skinny man and monster. the two first of wich are in need for speed underground and need for speed most wanted respectively :)
I have just been into simple music lately too... like literally Some people have made simple songs and they are friggin bad ace... but I try to make simple awesome songs and they are not awesome
This was fun, i think there was better riffs for static out there, but still great choices! I'd enjoy seeing you guys explore more genres in the 4 levels format.
S tier thumbnail
His bald head is a canvas that begs for thumbnails like this
For Static
Kinda looks like Wayne
Lollll
Static-X is the band that I keep forgetting about but maybe once in a year I'll have something that reminds me of them and I'll go listen to their discography for a whole week. Love the band. I didn't expect you guys to do this video, but it's really appreciated!
Static-X will always be one of my favorite bands I'm so happy to see Claine nerd out with their music and Wayne's talent!
Rest in Power Wayne Static, he was such a great & talented guitarist
the nü-metal revival has come for dean at last. no one is safe
Some fans think that the band asked for their approval. My daughter throws shit at me when she doesn’t approve of my actions. Bunch of babies
Every Static X song is easy af to play but they’re all bangers.
Just all rhythm but It’s good to learn em teaches you a lot of rythim techniques
Static-X was my first metal concert when I was a wee little lad at age 12. Always have enjoyed the overall feeling of their music, even if its very simplistic (in terms of playing) its quite a juicy layer cake to enjoy.

@@millerbeer01 Yeah, that was my Girl and I, lol!
What a return!
Static-X and Archspire are the two bands where I have to moderate my listening or else I can’t fall asleep haha
Bro, C-dawg with the immediate DEEP CUT from Wisconsin Death Trip. EVIL DISCO!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 @0:40 Lord Farquaad !!!! 🤣😂Probably the most Brutal thing I've heard from you yet, Dean!
This is PEAK thumbnail game!!!

LOVE Static X. WAY back in the day lots of dancing like a madman in the clubs. Awesome fun :) R.I.P Wayne.
Wisconsin Death Trip still to this day has no equal. It is one of a kind and seriously unique even in its own genre.
Glad to see these are coming out again. One of my favorite RUclips series!
Such a good band.
I wish I got to see Static-X more times, but at least I got to see them once back in the day.
Just so you know it is still worth going to see them. I just saw them for the first time since Wayne passed. It was a great show. Imo they are so respectful of Wayne I would definitely go see them again.🤘
Static-x is still one of my favourite bands. So happy you guys played Anything But This!
oh yess! When that album Wisconsin Death Trip came out I would play it front to back on a daily basis for about a year! Love Static-X!
This episode is so funny! You both are hilarious. Loved seeing Dean and his band in Vancouver. Highlight of my life.
That first album they made since Wayne died is so fucking good. Super heavy and underrated. Otsego placebo is the best one to pick!
Love and cherish each other, you guys are the best and i love your videos. Thank you both for the laughs and just being you.
Thank you both for this🖤
Static-X has been a part of my life since middle school. This means alot to me.
The Evil Disco lives on🖤
Rest in Power Wayne and Tera Static🖤🖤🖤
Glad to see the static x revival that’s been happening the last couple years
I didn't give a shit about Static-X until I happened to see them at a festival while they were touring for Cult of Static. They blew me away. An absolutely stellar performance. I've been a fan ever since.
Machine was the first metal album i owned, still getd played to this day
My favorite episode. There are plenty of funny moments in the video !
it is so nice to see you doing good.Bless you and I love you guys
Me and my wife literally just put out a cover of Cold, I'm so glad static x is still getting love
Dude always on point with dem thumbnails , congrats on crossing 100k subs
Big fan of 4 levels. Keep making them. You guys are my Wayne’s world show.
I love how you two communicate and that is meant in a good way :)
Static X was one of my first metal shows when I was in high school- now I've seen archspire 4 times 🙏
hopefully I can catch misyrion someday as well!
Hell yeah.
absolutely love Static-X. Easy songs to play but they are FUN to play!
thats exactly why im not waiting my time with them. id rather learn rust in peace
Wayne was the epitome of not being a master guitarist, but a master of what he does with the guitar. The dude could play, but he always kept it catchy, crunchy, and simple.
So cool! I strive to have a wife to rip static x songs with! One of my fav bands, you guys rock!
This is the only genuine nice content on RUclips.
3:35 and 7:00
Pretty cool the first two songs she chose had video game connections. "Otsegolation" was the background song to Omega Boost's start menu. "Anything But This" was featured on the Resident Evil (movie) soundtrack.
Static X was always one of my absolute faves. Shits sooooo goood
Glad to see someone enjoying Static-X as much as I do. 1 particular riff tho that I think more ppl should pay attention to and learn is for their song Stingwray. It's sick AF and the song itself has a rly nice bounce and groove.
Love static x so much. Thanks for doing this one!
This is the best use of Francisco Tárrega's work. Best of luck with your pursuit of the maintenance man, Eduardo.
God- I've always felt the way Claine does about Static X.. Just fucking AWESOME!!! You guys are great.
I wish I had the chance to see Static-X when Wayne was alive, but I did see them earlier this year when they toured with Sevendust, and they fucking kill it live. So much energy, so loud, and just a ton of fun.

The Thumbnail is sick man 🤘
Nice timing! I've been on a MASSIVE Static-X binge this week hahaha
I’ve missed you guys so much.
Always cool to see you guys, glad the shows are going great 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 RIP WAYNE 🖤🖤🖤
Hell yes on busting out "Obselegation" right out the gates! Heard the song in my childhood when I played an old PS1 game called OMEGA BOOST. This banger was literally the background music for the final boss fight. 🤘🤘

I love Static-X
I'm 17 and just got my first 7 string and now I finally feel like I'm part of the club when I watch these. Not like a 6 stringed peasant. 10/10
The Hunters Mark on Claine's arm....it makes me so happy to see a Bloodborne devotee 😭🖤💜💚
I miss these videos. Your new tones fit these riffs perfectly.
Who doesn't like Static-X!

I learned so much about Chinese investment in moose infrastructure, thanks!
You are both 11/10 in my heart ! awwwww
This pair is the best!
SO HAPPY YOURE BACK. 4 levels everyday thanks 🙏🏻 😂
Nuh-Uh! (that thumbnail!) 🤘🤣🤘
I'm a Death Metal guy but I loved Static-X. I want that Wayne Static Gothic V...damn it. 🤘
Static X is my childhood 🤘 lets gooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
That thumbnail is great haha I listened to them so long ago
Big sad Myserion had to drop off our Whiterock show, but looking forward to coming to Van anyway!
Wisconsin Death Trip is such a good album. Bled for days was the riff that popped in my head when you started off with Otsegolation
I never noticed how small Dean's hands are. Even more respect to you as an 8 string player.
Yo the look on her face when playing this stuff lmao totally in her element
HECK YEAHHHH LOVE STATIC X RIP WAYNE
This is not a band I would expect to see on this series. Static X is so good at making simple and heavy music though.
They were also very good live :)
Mixing different sayings together actually has a name. It's called a "Malaphor".
And I did it so often on purpose that I sometimes do it involuntarily now. XD
I love Static-X. This makes the industrial goth kid inside me happy lol.
Got to see Wayne and co. twice. It's shame that's all I get, but I'm thankful for those two shows. Excellent band.
As Ben Eller also did a static-x video and also referred to them as "Evil Disco".. I think it's time for a collaboration! (Good enough reason for me)
Wayne Static would call them an evil disco band.
Evil Disco is literally what Wayne Static called their style of music....lol
That's because that's what they call themselves...😂😂😂😂
Hell ya static x
Otsego Placebo goes super hard
I really have always related to the opinion that the simple, yet catchy, groovy riffs are so tough to know when it's right. I feel like it was easier when I was a less experienced guitar player. Also... you can truly feel Claire's appreciation/crush she has on someone here 👀😂
Thanks for:
- the Static-X nostalgia bomb
- reminding me to go check out Misyrion, because Kingdom of Misery is pretty sick!
Dean is a humble dude. Class act.
Claire's the one, Dean's the one, their the one
thank you for introducing me to more static-x songs. i basically only know 3 songs. the only, skinny man and monster. the two first of wich are in need for speed underground and need for speed most wanted respectively :)
0:30 “How long have you been shavinguuUuUUuhhh?”
Thumb-Nailed it!
Just stumbled on this one while editing Misyrion pics from AMF.
Glad to see you back from tour Deany Bean!
Sad I missed you at the metal fest this year Claire. Next year.
Y'all are fuckin' hilarious! 😆😅😂🤣
Machine head next please!!! The riffs are fun! 🤘🤘
I'd love to see you play and groove to some Conan or Bongripper riffs!
I smoked black tar with Wayne outside his tour bus in San Antonio at Backstage Live in January 2012. Mind blown.
misyrion is so sick i wish i had a band that was even one millionth that cool
Great to see you creating content again Dean.
What’s the info on a new record?
Level 4 the chuggy part could be a Brutal death/Slam song with different drums, that dance beat really changes how you feel a riff.
YESSSSSSSS STATIC-X!!!
I have just been into simple music lately too... like literally
Some people have made simple songs and they are friggin bad ace... but I try to make simple awesome songs and they are not awesome
Wisconsin Death Trip is such a banger album man.
The letter to Eduardo made my day.
This was fun, i think there was better riffs for static out there, but still great choices!
I'd enjoy seeing you guys explore more genres in the 4 levels format.
I remember when this band came out and I feel like it was guitar world magazine called the music, as named by Wayne, "disco trancecore"
Evil Disco 4 life.
I love you two. She's so me 🤣 with static x lol nothing but love from KCMO
