If you didn't notice the guy in the mickey costume actually had control over facial movements like the mouth and eyes. When he was first introduced and 'laughed' he actually moved the suits face to look like it was laughing.
I was extremely disappointed when I ate at Morimoto Las Vegas! I was so excited to try Master Morimoto`s cuisine. but I received everyday normal food and paid 4 times the normal price. I would have even paid more for something that was not so ordinary.
Great show, not much respect for the fish. He looked more focused on the speed than on the quality of the job. Sometimes it looked more alike a butchering job than a filleting. I appreciated the cook who was working beside him way more.
He does not exactly fillet a full tuna everyday mate....... cut him some slack. The idea and layout of the grand opening is very creative and entertaining. Can't you just enjoy it?

I mean, it's okay if one does not know anything about Japanese style tuna cutting nor expecting sophisticated fish eating people from Japan to begin asking embarrassing questions like, "Why is he not using Maguro tuna swords to cut the fish?"; as if they would ask instead of feeling humiliated by such barbaric behavior ?
***** I say the same thing, but the fish is served super fresh/cold and it's tested for bacteria/infections etc. Even though I know it's 110% safe (99% of the time lol), I can't get over the raw fish thing either. I stick to vegetable sushi instead.
+Michael Warbux You will most likely get food bourne infection from vegetables as well. Just imagine a parasite infested snail crawling over your cucumber or some other parasites laying eggs on your leafy greens. Theres always a risk in eating raw food but the risk is low.
I haven’t eaten raw tuna but looking at all the smiles it must be good ! Only bad part is there desecrating the wild tuna population just as they did to the caviar from sturgeon just for the eggs for reproduction ! Enjoy while there are still some left
