Thanks Hieth! Yeah, I’ve been trying to up that audio game! I had a whole bunch of really quality mics laying around from my days recording guitar and mic’ing amp cabs and figured I might as well put them to use haha
So glad it helped you out! I use Core SWX V mounts, pretty much exclusively. This video shows the HC9 batteries which they don’t make anymore but replaced with the Neo series which is what I use now. And the monitor here is the Atomos shinobi 5” SDI version. It’s a great monitor, affordable, and gets the job done 🤘🏼
Dude totally blew my mind with the Zihyun clearance! Also SUPER helpful to learn about the ThunderBay, I've been wanting to get some sort of setup like this but can never seem to understand the setup or which drives to by for the bay - cool to see it all setup in one package! Crazy you can edit that RAW footage on those SSDs! So you did the 8TB (4 x 2TB) for the SSDs and then 48TB (4 x 12TB) HHD right ($4.7k)? ALSO what is your solution for the 96TB for the archive?!?! That's freaking awesome.
Dude it blew my mind that the zhiyun could handle it too! Haha Yeah man, the thunderbay is amazing, changed my whole workflow. That’s exactly the configuration that I have! I bought mine preconfigured from OWC, which is a nice option because you can literally just plug it in and go to work. You can definitely build your own too but I just didn’t want to mess with that haha. And for the 96TB I have a G tech, G shuttle. It’s also an 8 bay enclosure but I’ve just got 8, 12TB archive hard drives in there. I’ve had that one for a while and started with just four drives a while ago to keep costs down and have just added drives as needed as time goes on.

I have a C300 Mark III, but the more I do searches on trying to find an ac adapter for it to go straight to wall plug, have had any luck or need?
