Kohler Courage Reassembly, Part 2 - Cub Cadet LTX 1045

This week, in the second part of our Kohler Courage reassembly process, we’ll finish up the head with our new push rods and rocker arms, finish up the valve cover with a freshly cleaned surface and some HondaBond, and finish out our reassembly with reattaching the exhaust and intake systems. Next week, we’ll do some testing to see if this Cub Cadet LTX 1045 is ready to go back into action!

thank you so much for this video. It has helped me greatly in replacing my head gasket on my Cadet. Do you have a video on replacing the sump gasket on the Club Cadet LT 1042 the bolts have come lose and oil is leaking . I checked with small engine shops in the area and their price to replace head gasket and sump gasket would have taken me out of retirement. thanks again Flip

Kohler service manual states 360 in/lbs.
