Your collection is museum level, you really could charge admission if you wanted lol.
You inspired me to start collecting about 3 years ago, it's a really great hobby that preserves history.
Thank you so much for the compliment!!
thats my dream cause im a history nut 🤨
@@History-Secrets Do you have any good resources for buying WW2 collectibiles? I would love to start collecting but want to know of some reliable sites before I start.
@@robertdacquisto6871 though it is just modern stuff and replicas, there are some origional and stuff you could probably reenact with even though its not even replicas or origional
This is like the Smithsonian of WW2 ETO infantry.
Hello Nick, I’m an English bloke who is interested in your amazing work. Your truly inspiring and a great man.
Thank you so much for the nice comment!!
@History Secrets do you have any k98 or lee Enfield stripper clips
@Montys owner Hellow, fellow Englishman
Hello fellow manenglish
There was no need to announce the fact you’re English mate
Nice collection and it is displayed very well considering the amount of items you have. I need to get motivated to display my WWI and WWII collection. I have nothing like the amount of things you have, but I probably have more than I realize because it is scattered everywhere in boxes.
Which video is the one where your MG was damaged? I saw your Instagram post, but never saw the video.
Good day , loved your videos not mention your collection.I was aBrit soldier in Berlin in 1984 .Although Army I spent most of my time on RAF Gatow . I’ve spent a few years building up a much smaller collection than yourself . The one thing I did manage to pick up is German side cap from a former aircraft technician who worked on Me109’s based at Templehof flughaffe. I after all these these years I still have not managed to secure a German ww2 helmet ….would you consider a swap ? I can produce photographs I stay in the UK
Plus your accent is spot on for a western Berlin…also vielen danke fur ihre suzammen arbeit
I have started collecting because of you you really are awsome
Impressing as always! I truely love your videos, you are one of my inspirations. Greetings from Poland!
Thanks for preserving history. Your presentation, comments and collection are very impressive. People need to understand that there is a difference between t"history" and "hatred. Well done!
You should do a re-visit of your trench yard! I found it very good to watch a few years ago! Looking forward to it! ❤
You're the reason why I started collecting and reenacting... thank you very much! Greetings from Austria!
Very impressive collection sir! I still have the first military item my dad bought for me, a ribbon bar from the Korean War. That started me in a 50-year journey of preserving Military history.
At the time I could only afford American Military items, but once I got older I started in with German items. Can you believe that back when I was a kid, you could buy a German SS Helmet for 20 to 30.00? But then 20.00 was like 100.00. Those were the days.
@@eliwilson5902 I'm still looking for one. Someday..
Ho my god nick I have to say this is my favorite part of your collection tour 2023 .My favorite items were the mg34 the officer skull officer cap along the leather coat and the british turtle helmet I hope your collection grows and that your content continues to grow your collection is really great
You're one of the main reasons I started my collection, and without you, my love for history would never have existed.
Amazing collection! I'm in awe. I have a few items only, but those items have sentimental value. My great-grandfather and his best friend were in the Siege of Narvik, so i have a photo of my great-grandfather in his Norwegian uniform riding his horse, i also have his "thank you for your service"-letter from the king and both his and his best friends medals. I would love to start collecting more, and i'm hoping to get my great-grandfathers old rifle when i get my weapons license. Thank you for keeping history alive
Very cool interesting collection keep up the great work 👍
Amazing video! I am in love with the mp 40! I would love to see a video about all the Relics you have found. And the story behind the items. I do a lot of metal detecting myself here in Denmark and I would love to compare to some of your finds. Best regards Ludvig :D
Can’t beat a nice MG42 Buzzsaw lol. Very interesting that you can tell the casing belonged to a MG42 by the damage to it. Thanks for the education!!
I do wonder how many unfortunate souls has been victims to those weapons. Gives me goose bumps to think about. And all the suffering, and evil while wearing those helmets, and uniforms.
Lovely collection with plenty of history hiding in them.
This the best channel for WW2 that I’ve ever seen. I’m working on buying a Bren-British machine and a Thompson fro 1928. Hoping to send one to you Nick
When I found this channel, i thought it was really cool, and now I can say you lnspired me to start my own collection!
Great video I really enjoyed it and I look forward to more to come...
Wow Nick. Really impressive collection. Next step, your own museum? Cool video, big like.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks very much for the video. I have had a lot of Lugers , P38s and Daggers over the years and a few helmets also . But nothing like your Collection.
Keep up the good work my Friend.
So amazing to see some Finnish items in your collection. :D Some photos, old Finnish marks, a picture of Mannerheim... Nice. :D
imagine being a neo nazi
Woah, what an insane collection, i expected him to say
"and here is an helmet signed by Hitler and a bottle with some of his blood extracted from the Berlin bunker"
Amazing story about how your collection and interest started😍
Not to long ago I went to a place and they had a demilitarized, MG13 for 4,500 USD, it looked fabulous
Nick glad to see your posting I just wish that you streamed more
I tell collectors all the time, and I will tell you the same thing Nick, you should consider opening your own personal private musuem.
It will not only will it make you money, but it will educate people on these artifacts and relics of the war. People want to actually destroy Nazi relics, but you need to preserve them to remind us about who they were.
Just keep that in mind my good friend!
Fellow collector, historian and RUclipsr- CarpetYT
The way he just pulls out the draw and goes “v1 rocket parts” so casually is so funny 🤣
An incredible collection Nick.
But watch out, watch out the ghost is still about 👀👻👀
Awesome!
Thank you!!
Your videos have inspired me to start my own collection and I have just bought a helmet and a uniform! Thanks Nick! :)
Hi nick I am 13 and love your videos keep it up you got me in to collecting
This is cool but I think it might be hunted when u were showing the paratrooper helmets there was a shadow in the mirror
I can't believe you are not displaying your Grandfathers medals and other belongings in a prominent display. That is the coolest part of your very nice collection
I got the notification very late at night, when I was about to fall asleep...
Well I watched this morning and I'm still in awe.And the story about your first find made me sentimental XD,when I found my first one it was well maybe a year ago(as a girl not allowed to do dirty work or care about history, although I was a fanatic of ww2 in elementary) it was a rifle bullet*I need to check the date soon*
Keep it up with your videos, hoping one day to meet you
Nick where should i buy the leather for my german ww2 impression?
Absolutely Fantastic
one of the first here
You really need to start a museum! If there was funding available for a building you would have the most incredible museum with your collection, especially the way you display things (like the pile of “thrown away” German items) it makes it so real, like you were there. Love to see your passion. Keep it up! 😊
bro holy shit man, my hats off to you
I love all your videos and I’ve missed your videos
Amazing video man, keep up the great, fantastic, amazing work!
An excellent collection. Any museum would envy you for this. But I didn't see that you have a LUGER pistol.
Que belleza, envidiable 😊
Such a stunning collection!
Thanks for the video!
Super Nice
Love your channel nick, please pray for America.
Glad to see another video, and great as always! I've been collecting for about 3 years now, and your videos actually inspired me to start collecting! To think my collection started with an Italian M33 I found... I wouldn't be where I am now if it weren't for your content. Keep up the good work!
Nick, amazing collection. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to hear the MG42 is going to possibly be repaired
If I could ever work for you I will. All I need as a paycheck for the year is just one of the German helmets.
My left ear has been greatly informed
I’ve to say every time you get something I have to enlarge my collection too, we have collections competing in sheer volume lol
Some real nice items there my friend
Nice collection!, I have a few things of my own that I wish I could display better. I have a bin of US wool uniforms and a 5ft x 8ft 48 star flag which I belive was from WWI, it belonged to my mother in law's father who served in WWI. My prized possessions are a Kriegsmodell 17 which is a 7,65 mm semi auto handgun produced in occupied France for the Germans between 1940 - 1945 ( I actually have ammo and have fired it). I also have an SS armband, a 1939 Iron Cross and two 1939 Knights Cross war merit badges. I have a bit more that is less interesting and some reproduction stuff as well. I really enjoyed your video! take care
So cool
Hey Nick you should make a video on the military awards you have
hello nick :) i love ur chanell more than anything
Might wanna clear some space for some WW3 stuff. Probably in a bunker or something though...
W Europie to nikt za to wszystko nie sa ci nawet 20 euro takie rzeczy sa powtarzalne gowno 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Amazing collection you have
Fantastic work
Truly amazing.
like your collection you made me collect ww2 items
Hey Nick next time you go to reanactments you should show us you packing for the event I think it would be educational and fun it is always my favorite part before an event is packing the anticipation always gets me lol much love from America ❤️
I can only dream of having this much gear. Thanks for showing us all of your stuff!
Boy nick of someone Robbed your house they'd be rich!!
But I swear your collection seems like an AWESOME place to see in person!!
Zajebiste zbiory! Prawdziwy fanatyk! 😁😁😁
Nick, I've been watching you even before the lock down. Thank you for all you have done! I look forward to your next videos.
I have a german service pass from ww2 and a piece of the Hindenburg. The service pass is blank to.
Your collection is totally awesome. Omg. I must say the MG 34 machine gun. Wow. I have to admit, the British helmets look so ridiculous. The German helmets I think are the most awesome looking and probably gives more protection than any other helmet. Love your videos and just love your collection.
Very cool collection can you tell me what is the small red triangle thing is at 24:26?
BRO YOU DEZERVE MORE SUBS AND VIEWS. THESE VIDEOS ARE INSANE BRO! KEEP UP THE FANTASTIC WORK
I'm curious about the firearm laws of the Netherlands.. Are there no restrictions on what you can own? That is a amazing collection of both clothing, helmets and weapons.i wish I would have started collecting when it was easier to get and find.. I enjoy your videos and am amazed at your knowledge of equipment..
Richtig schöne Sammlung Grüße aus Deutschland
I bet most ammo is not deactivated. Even the mg42 utah beach rounds are a pain to get cleanly out of the belt without breaking it
History secrets love your work and AMAZING collection you have. And I do have one question for you. Did you find anyone that can fix MG42? Sorry for bringing this up if you are still upset about it.
You didn't choose the Hobby the Hobby choose YOU😅
Your lucky to have all of this i just have some helmets with living in the usa i obviously cant medal detect and find cool relics
Absolutely love these kinds of videos. Such an amazing collection!
Awesome video ,,, my grandfather used to talk about the sound of the mg-34 ,, he told me to hear those things in the distance was terrifying!!!
Awesome video!!!!!!! Thank you so much for your content, your love for history & for sharing some of your collection with all us viewers!!!!!!! @28:20 I'm curious to know about the ring, laying in front of the fork & toothbrush, in your display case. Is there any story connected to it?
Where did you get the german flags? I have a collection myself of german Artifacts and think for the background it would be fitting to put one in my collection's case
Nick, your house is haunted
When are you going to restore it to the original glory of the items and keep it up
My idol
When are you actually going back to the metal detecting not being rude but we seen your attic quite a few times
As soon as I have the time for it. I already went a few times, but it wasn't enough to make a complete video about it. I can't always find things, that's why making metal detecting videos can take a while sometimes. Also, this is part 3 (final part) of the collection tour, this wasn't shown before.
Your collection and knowledge is amazing. I think you should open a museum, you would make a great tour guide. I'm an English woman and I've always been interested in the second world war era. Thank you for the great video
in the opening montage alone I counted nine guns
I did see a windhunde division tag do you have a say on it?
Sorry have been missing your videos. Its not that i have lost interest or anything like that, there has just been happeing in my Life. My grandma who Got cured from cancer died on The 10 of jannuary. And my grandpa has deiamentia. He lives about 200 kilometers away so my mom have to drive up to him every weekend. Btw keep up The good content❤
Hey, don't you worry at all!!! I totally understand, and I'm so sorry for your loss! I know what it feels like.. And having someone who's suffering from dementia is really hard.. Especially when this person lives far away. I know it's hard to lose someone you love.. But don't forget, that a body is just a tool.. The soul lives on! She's not gone.. She's still there by your side, and she will always be!! I'm sure now and then she will give you a sign.. Don't be depressed, but be happy, that's what your grandma wants too! I promise you, she's there! I wish you and your family the best, and I hope my videos can make your day a bit better! ❤️
@@History-Secrets thank you soo much man that you Care so much for your fans. You 100 procent make my day better by uploading. Love you man from 🇩🇰❤️
@@Brick_Builder_101 Of course I care! And I wish you all the best!! 😄
Hi greetings from USA , New sub here , love this content , I also enjoy metal detecting, we hunt for relics from the American Civil War, very slim picking now a days , maybe I can share some pictures to u
I once found a B17 crewman silver gunners wings , I traded it for a union civil war cartridge box plate and the wings went to my good friend (neighbor) who trained on a B17 and later flew 33 missions on a B29
I dream of coming to Europe and do a dig for some keepsake
Hi nick I just bought Mt first original peace it is a american m1 grand belt I am 13 and just wondering when the next trench video
This is truly amazing. The only other place I've seen this level of collection was the Smithsonian. Keep up the good work!
Did your voice change?
10:07 is it true that it still works
I waited every day till you uploaded again and it was worth it 😊
