Caldas da Rainha is a great town with an amazing market once a month in the beautiful Dom Carlos I park! We spent a few hours looking at the fascinating items for sale, and also chatting with friends from the area!
This is our third Caldas da Rainha vlog... we love this place!
If you haven't already seen it, here is the previous Caldas video:

Hello Jacqui! It was so lovely to meet you that day, and we really enjoyed the chat! I'm so pleased our videos are still proving helpful to you re: the cycle & cinema museum, and the free loos. Lee wasn't sure if the latter would be useful to viewers so I'm really happy you mentioned them 🤣😂

We live only 50km from Caldas and have yet to go there, but will soon! We bought our house with contents included...Lots for the trash, but found lots of treasures many that remind me of things at that market! A little weird unpacking someone's life, but fun at the same time! I think there's a pottery outlet store there I'd like to go to...Do you know of it? Lee reminds me of my husband...Fixes everything and is even building a kitchen island out of an old armoire!! We are fairly frugal too!!😉

I would have struggled to throw anything away! 😉 Yes, we actually went to the factory outlet store with Ma and Gaz, and will show it in an upcoming Caldas video. Lee's fairly handy with some things... it's more that he's driven by our shared frugal ways, and likes to make do and mend, rather than throw away and buy new. Dear Mandy and Lee, fungal or bacterial infections, such as Athlete's foot, can be easily contracted through minor cuts, skin fissures or under the nail beds. These issues can be very invasive and difficult to treat. Shoes are often excellent breeding grounds for these issues because the interior of a shoe remains dark and damp. However, gently used shoes that have been properly cleaned and deodorized should not negatively impact the foot health of a new owner. Buyer beware. Please take care of each other.
