I have fine curly hair so I always have a hard time finding products that will give me curl without weighing my hair down. I've been using a high end product for a long time. But since the cost of living has risen I decided to try the L'Oreal Elvive Dream Length Curl moisture shampoo and conditioner. I love them!!! My hair is so soft and my curls are defined. I also bought the reRefresh and Reshape leave-in spray. OMG this stuff is amazing too!! It gives me great definition and my hair is soft!!! The other part that is great is the COST!!! I don't have to spend a fortune anymore. Thank you for turning me onto this product.!!

There’s one that saids it’s infused with White Nectarine & Pear Fragrance, it’s more expensive but I really try to preserve my hair color as much as possible… I’ve never tried this brand and was going to try the combo set for $20 but I need the color treated type. I just found your channel. Am loving it ! My hair is fine but it is so soft. It feels like silk. Which makes it horrible ! Is there anything now that will make it less so. They used to have shampoos that alone made your hair full. Now they have so many softening products in the shampoo it makes my hair flat . Even when I go to the salon my hair looks awful. Most people go and come out looking great, I come out and look like a flat straight mess.

Hi! My hair is the same. Won't do anything or hold any curl for too long, slips out of clips & bands! Personally, I haven't found a shampoo/conditioner that will fix it. So, I go for volumizing ones with no sulfates & use products to give my hair some grit & grip. Mousse, a texturizing spray, and/or dry shampoo are decent options & my go-to's (Not all at once... probably.). Just commiserating with you. You're not alone! Yeah, I know that fixes everything! Lol! Anyway, hope you find something that works for you. Have a good day!

Until I watched a dermatologist talk about hair and and she said that not everyone benefits from washing your hair once a week, I find my hair and scalp are healthiest when I wash every other day not to mention my hair grows faster when my scalp has a clean environment but that's for me personally!! Something was off in the quality control, be it the packaging or even that the shelflife is coming to an end. However, you can purchase the products from any authorized retailer, even a grocery store, and they will be OK. Salons just say that so they can make their commission.

@@freedomheiress not true. Professionals care about the quality of product and if you pay to get your hair professionally done, why would you risk using less than quality product at home? I went to cosmo school at Paul Mitchell and I was told to push product sales, but I would always tell clients that if not from me, they should at least get their quality hair care from another local salon, Ulta, Sephora or the brand's official website. That lets them know that I legitimately care about the health of their hair and them getting quality product, not just helping the school make a profit. Hey Angie! It won’t lighten it at all. The only thing that can lighten hair is lightener (bleach). If you use purple shampoo for blonde hair, the silver grey will turn icier and whiter (it will lose the yellow cast). It actually works incredibly well. Give it a shot. You may love the result. Hi, i was having itchy scalp and a lot of dandruff so i am using ketakonazole based shampoo twice a week only for one month, and afterwards only once a week.you first wash hair with normal shampoo to get rid of dirt, grease etc. Then you put ketakonazole shampoo on scalp and leave ir for 2-3 minutes. And then rinse. Head n shoulders was not working. Get a dedicated shampoo from pharmacy. This gets rid of the bad yeast/fungus on scalp that causes itching. Sometimes hair fall is due to yeast/fungus on scalp.
Also increase protein, good fats from nuts and seeds. Hope this helps.

My hairdresser does is once every 9 weeks and I do touch ups myself but my hair is thinning and hate doing it every two weeks. I use Pantene for color treated hair. Most likely the Pantene stripping the color out of your hair. Not only is it stripping, but it's also depositing heavy waxes that aren't water soluble onto the hair shaft, which could be a layer that prevents your hair from receiving color deep enough into your hair's cutical to last long enough.

I have worked in hair forever and created a lot of hair products. A lot of shelf products aren't useless. You don't really need to wash your hair everyday unless you have scalp or other issues. It's not really good for your hair or scalp. Let it get greasy. If you need to wash daily sweat or some dirt out, try a cowash (washing hair with conditioner) and see if that brings it out. Your natural sebum is your best friend. I'm not hating shampoos on market at all. They're great products but don't use all the time. Try washing your hair with acv if you need to

Oh yes I know that can happen. Often that will happen if you have very porous hair or hair where the cuticle layer is very damaged. Hair that is damaged and/or porous has a tendency to swallow colour (and anything else for that matter) and not let it go. This isn't necessarily an issue with the product itself but rather an issue with the hair type not being suitable for the product.

Salon brands that are sold in the drug store should not be used, they are counterfeit so there’s no way to tell what’s actually in them. Salon brands are sold only in Salons or of course at the professional beauty supply stores that only hair stylist can buy them from and not the general public.

Honey, Joico and Biolage aren't selling to drugstores. Those are products that drugstores have bought on the black market, where the black market seller left them to expire beforehand or filled with an entirely different product. To say that Joico and Biolage are selling to drugstores is very disrespectful to the brands and misleading.. Education is key here.

Zero waste can actually be cheaper, we spend less when I do it better.
