My local Honda dealer is doing a free engine oil change and tire rotation on my 2024 Sport L after I got a maintenance minder (A16) at just over 8K miles. For $170 they will also do the differential oil change, the "6" of the A16 in the message minder code. So I watched this excellent video! Thanks 3GuysGarge for showing how easy it is to do. I already got the turkey baster and oil plus washers lined up and will do the job at 15K for a little over $35.
Nice vid , i just got a 24 hybrid CRV and im liking it . I hope you make a video when you do the E CVT fluid change . I been poking around under mine and can't find the damn fill plug . 👍
When it comes time I’ll have to do a little research on how to do it. I hope this vehicle last my wife a really long time and I’d like to keep it as nice as possible
@@3guysgarage yeah your not the only one . I debated on buying the extended warranty, but I haven't . So many damn electronics in these vehicles now. My sister has a 14-year-old Honda hybrid, not one issue and batteries are still strong. Just a heads up , I ordered a bunch of fluid for it through College Hills Honda . Good pricing and cheap shipping .

@@3guysgarage gotcha. Just finished. Needed a breaker bar for them both. Torqued it back to 35 so hopefully never again. Definitely needed the syringe. Hand pump sucks. Thanks!!!

@@twoaces79 we love reading this stuff. This is why we created this channel save people hundreds of dollars from the stealerships
It is important that the vehicle is level if you dont have a pit to do this. All jack stands at all 4 points, the same height.
I have crv2023 le , I try to change rear differential myself, but I don't see you reset light at Navigator,
We never had to reset anything. Did you figure it out?

Your fill plug is underneath your air box. Right on top of the tranny. It's a rubber one. You'll see it.
Thanks for the vid!! Can you link that pump you used as well? It seems nice and smooth!

Crush washer part 90472-px4-000 does not seem to come up anywhere but 90471-px4-000 does. Could you have mistakenly fat fingered (mistyped) it?
could def have been an option
Thank you you are the best so where a buy the washers #
I got the whole kit off eBay
Trying to do this now on my daughters car. The fill plug won’t budge. Did you use a breaker bar or something?
No I just used a ratchet it definitely took a good amount of strength to loosen the plug for the first time

Yeah I did it. I used an impact gun to get it off
What tool did you to pump the fluid in there ?
It’s a fluid extractor from Amazon they are like 10-12 dollars
