Finally the Rockets have an ultra confident floor spacer. The crazy thing is that just scratches the surface of his game. The future is so bright, gotta wear 😎
Tbh even if his other game doesn’t develop just for his shooting and defense is already a plus. His spacing gonna help JG big time. Now JG is going to have all the paint for him to drive through
Logo reed is the real deal, the iq and spacing is off the charts, plus his athleticism on d. He did the same thing at Kentucky He has great hands. He reminds me of cp3 and curry plus Nash he makes the right basketball play. I can't wait to see him develop with ime coaching and van fleet teaching him. Dudes a baller. Taking nothing away from cam or nate williams but reed was the best player on the floor tonight from either team. He could of scored 12 he was still the best player on the floor. Bronny looked exhausted maybe the pressure is getting to him. And y'all are right the ESPN cast was horrible covering a 55th pick like he was number 1. It's not his fault but damn the broadcast was bad Thanks for the vid y'all got a new subscriber the future is bright for the rockets.
Cam actually had a really solid game as well but it came later. Reed and Cam are the future of this backcourt. Green had better be working hard this summer, if he wants to keep his job!
@@juqual78 I agree cam is a baller. I hope jalen can come out strong this season I hope he is focused on ball becuz he is a special talent. The whole team is stacked with young talent plus having van fleet and brooks as veterans. I have faith ime will figure it out they have a lot of talent to work with
Observations from the game: 1. Reed Sheppard is the real deal. He was the best player on the floor even better than Cam Whitmore (will come back to him). Reed showed why he’s the #3 overall pick, All around game is A+ he even had 3 Blks 2. Cam Whitmore, to me is a bench player because he’s only a scorer with one way tunnel vision. He’s not looking to give up the ball once it’s in his hands unless he feels like he can’t score. So for those thinking he’ll take J. Green spot that’s not happening anytime soon. Sometimes his game is hazardous and won’t work with others in a starting unit cause he takes a lot of bad shots and poor decision making. 3. Nate Williams needs to make the team. The next guy I’m about to mention I will see the Rockets cut him. I don’t see what he brings to this rockets team. 4. AJ Griffin is not going to make this team. I don’t know what happened to his 3 point shot but it’s not their at all. And if he can’t shoot the 3, he can’t offer us anything. Just cut him.
Should be great at 3 pt contest I know Kentucky had one last year at Big Blue Madness and Antonio Reeves won it but who knows how hard Reed was trying lol I do think he wins a 3 pt contest in his career
Nate Williams really struggles from range but a backcourt mate like Reed can really allow him to shine. He might be a really solid depth piece for us. Same thing of course applies to Amen and Sengun. Can't wait to see them all on the floor together.
Reed Sheppard long range 3s to space the floor is so important for Jalen Green to drive more easily down the lane for easy lay ups, Alperen Sengun won't be double teamed as much either.
Good pod guys. I like what I saw from Reed. I was impressed. Reed appears to be as good as advertised. I was thinking he might have a hard time getting playing time, but if he shoots like that playing time won't be a problem. WE NOW HAVE FVV REPLACEMENT FOR THE FUTURE. as for AJ Griffen I was disappointed. he has a lot to work on. his defense was just plain bad. as for Cam I was hoping to see more shot creation. I know Cam can score, but setting up his teamates is were I want to see him expand his game. as for the broadcast I agree with both of you guys it sounded like only one team was playing the game. Bronny was trash and they covered him like he was Lebron. the Lakers and Lebron have set this kid up for failure
He needs to work on his conditioning and lateral movement so he can stay with the lightning quick guards he will face on a nightly basis. He will never be able to completely stop them, because that is where we are in the modern NBA, but there are guards that he will simply not be able to cover. I seriously doubt he can guard Ja for example. That being said he can work hard to fix it and make it less of a weakness.
I loved what i seen from Reed, and i was Clingan guy. However; i don't think Reed and Sengun will play together, Reed on ball defense needs improvement plus Alp is not a Rim protector, so i dont see them on the court together
Thankful for Hosts that are respectful towards the players.

Three blocks for a player of Reed's size is wild.
Good stuff! Thanks for covering the game guys! Couldn’t be more excited for Reed
“ but but he’s to small” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Man I was wrong about Reed. He legit!!! 🚀
New to this podcast and I love it keep up the great work guys
Thank you 🤝
The ROCKETS 🚀 are coming 🗣
Reed gonna be 3 pt contest champ this coming season … Book it ?
Should be great at 3 pt contest I know Kentucky had one last year at Big Blue Madness and Antonio Reeves won it but who knows how hard Reed was trying lol I do think he wins a 3 pt contest in his career
That little juke he did in the lane---reminded me a lot of White Chocolate /Chris Paul.
chat gtp suggested nicknames: the shepherd of threes, the long range shepherd, the shepherd of swish, the shot shepherd
Can’t wait to see sengun/reed & amen/reed chemistry 😭😭

Same thing of course applies to Amen and Sengun. Can't wait to see them all on the floor together.
He reminds me of more atheletic Paul/Nash combo and Curry's range. He's gonna be just fine
This Rockets team is going to be SNEAKY deep.
Reed Sheppard Assists, long range shooting and defense, Reed starting at Point Guard could happen sooner.
Reed really can be a lockdown defender.
Reed Sheppard long range 3s to space the floor is so important for Jalen Green to drive more easily down the lane for easy lay ups, Alperen Sengun won't be double teamed as much either.
Facts they act like Sheppard wasn’t the 3rd # overall pick
Yessuhhh🤘🔥💯
Logo Reed is the second of coming curry 👨🍳
The kid has a good mid-range game as well.
His middy game isn’t even talked about much but he’s literally automatic from mid range & his floater is straight butter 🧈
Hell yeah, with our great screeners...uffff
@@jakeburns1066 He reminds of John Stockton.

white curry. delicious
I’m so hype😭 all the trauma curry has caused…could this be vengeance?
closest to knockdown shooter we had was ryan anderson 😂
Or Bullard or Horry.
John Stockton is the comp
🤘🏾🍿🚀
Fuck yeah a bmf
steph curry with 42 inch vertical
Aj griffin reminded me of the 2022 rockets anytime he would touch the ball. Keep him far away from the team bruh lol
I have a feeling he won’t make the team. I will keep Nate Williams and cut AJ Griffin.
He the next chris paul his game doesn’t have any glaring holes for his position and role
I loved what i seen from Reed, and i was Clingan guy. However; i don't think Reed and Sengun will play together, Reed on ball defense needs improvement plus Alp is not a Rim protector, so i dont see them on the court together
Guys have you ever played ball for real? Or you just talking to talk
