wow - this is more of what not to do. 3:40 - using a socket extension to pound the shaft - say goodbye to the extension. 4:44 - clamping the shaft in a vice? now you've got a lot of dents on the shaft - should make it difficult to return spring clips onto the shaft. 5:03 - shouldn't use a socket to press (pound) the bearing into place, if you must do then at least use a socket with nearly the same outer diameter as the bearing ( like at 3:55 ). NEVER pound on the inside cover of the bearing. sorry to be so negs, but... Good audio, nice voice and what an amazing difference in sound after new bearings!
Yup, the video was utterly terrible. Made by an amateur, pretty sure this guy doesn't do this for a living. If he does, he's a pikey! Probably robs people he works for, not just when he does "work" pffffft work....yeah right lol
If you want to avoid all the pounding, use a file to file away the ridge edge at the end of the axle. Companies put these on so that you think you have to buy a whole new assembly. A little time with a file will save you some time and headache.
Well done. Very informative video. You managed to get rid of the fringing noise, but what's the other wispy constant noise? Think I will have a go at fixing mine soon.
knock the end of the shaft through one bearing into the roller, then from the other end, use the shaft as a drift to knock out the same roller. do the same other end
If you want to actually understand how the bearings are replaced and see a very clear, step-by-step video of the procedure being done, go to the Video Responses video by shyflirt1. THAT guy does an excellent job.
Just time consuming. Very unclear video. Just did not show the most important part. How to pull out bearings from shaft. It is not clear how did you do that. If you would do that part clear video would be awesome. But right now just time consuming.
Lol this guy is hacking on a bearing with a metal ball peen hammer and hes striking the inner race. and hes smashing the end of the axle with the same hammer.lol I like when hes slamming the bearing and it was even close to being lined up with the roller hole but yet..hes smacking the hell outa it
Awesome video, thanks for letting us HEAR the noise it was making, mine is making the same noise.

Nice language.
When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail lol

0:30. SHES GOING CRITICAL!
I bought a new belt and can not install it back, what am I doing wrong?
Sir from whic site i can buy. front roller for novafit turbo 2100
How many bearings are inside each roller? Are they generic in size? Where can you buy them.
I have same problem, where do you purchase the sealed bearings?
Decent enough repair. But dang bro, u must go through some sockets and extensions wailing on them like that 😆
ho do I know it needs change? I bought a new belt, and when trying to run on it it stops making squeak noises, what do you think it might be? look
is this using 2hp motor?
Not enough information on this video kept cutting out the steps on how to replace the bearings and putting the roller back on
can some one help understand why the bearings keep on breaking after benig replaced? could it be that my tread mill is not for running? tredex6.0
thanks. if i need for a diy project to cut the roller so it become shorter, will the bearing sit appropriately as with the original place?
thanks
you need a wide angle lens
He can't afford a house, never mind a decent lense for the camera!

Sorry, very frustrating. Some noise, some mumbling, and hardly any explanation as to what the heck was being done.
