At least a piece of wood to hit on instead of the bearing itself. Also noticed the grease fitting being trapped on the bottom.. he should of put the bearing on with the fitting on top so that it can get grease when needed.
@@brianberson4169rubber mallet is okay but brass hammer works best. Also never hit the bearing like this guy. Get a drift and lay on face of bearing then hit with brass hammer. U should only hit the inner race when working with bearings.
Next time use a soft face hammer to drive your bearings on and that’s an eccentric locking collar on the bearing. You’re suppose to use a punch in the hole that the set screw doesn’t go into and tap it around in the direction of shaft rotation.
Your correct buddy. video shows how to do it in basic ways but it's up to maintenance guy how they provide proper tools for every project available.. in that time we did just to run it for it will needed it very badly in the middle of busy operation..
감사합니다 !! 회사에서 베어링이 가끔 고장나서 교체를 해야하는데 하는 방법을 몰라 혼났었는데 덕분에 배웠습니다 !
Thank you Sir
^^
Okay, that's actually easier to follow 😮
Yap.. If frequently or your routine in field
good job 👍
Thanks
Dude.... use a brass hammer whenever working on shaft/bearings.

Yes that was correct but sometimes it doesn't follow the basic rules
Thanks and noted next time@@900fam

So the bearings don’t need washers?
Nope but its up to you if need so
Nice job only one thing I'll do differently is using a brass hammer.
Yes Buds, you can use any hammer as long as you are comfortable using it.
Thanks
That's good 🙂
😊👍
Thanks
He forgot to grease the new bearing.
And also forgot to put his personal lock on the disconnect.
Yes Buddy. I ms to show in my video about installing LOTO before starting the project.
