I had high cholesterol and high triglycerides since I was a teenager for no reason, I ate only my mom's food and it was healthy and from scratch. My mom is obsessed about cholesterol. Today, as an adult I have Metabolic Syndrome, diabetes, one heart attack, 2 stents and a quadruple bypass, all while living a healthy life. Today my numbers are controlled with medication and watching my diet.
Thanx for your explanation, now I understand better.

G'day Kait. I already have reduced sugars, but could be more diligent. I use mct, but only a half tblspoonful, as I have no gall bladder, so am cautious with oils & fats. Reducing alcohol, yep, only drink a small amount, occasionally, anyway. Sleep is the big tricky one for me.. I think it is time to get some of those specs! Ps, perhaps when referring to alcohol re one fluid ounce, also mention 30mls, (I had to look it up) &/or that it is essentially a standard nip of spirits, two tablespoons, or one standard drink. It may help more people understand how much you mean. As always, your information is so helpful!

There is a reason that HDL and triglycerides are markers of metabolic syndrome and LDL isn't. Because it doesn't even correlate to anything! Most people who have heard attacks have "normal" LDL.

    • @HealthCoachKait

I have a whole video on MCT oil 😁 ruclips.net/video/QIlugvtLRJs/видео.html
Definately check out the glasses and let me know what you think once you've tried them.
As for melatonin you do not want to be taking it every night. When you take it regularly, you body stops producing it's own. And that is when you will really run into sleep problems when you stop taking it. It should only be used in one off situations - if you're really struggling to fall asleep or to combat jet lag for example.

Been following a meal plan with my nutricionist and go 4 times a week to the gym, cant lose weight and the test results were very high everything. Insuline, Colesterol LDL, triglycerides, anticorps anti tiroideus, testerone, etc. Just one more exam before my endochrinologist decides what next. Im quite scared and frustrated for doing all fine and my body just doesn't work! Im getting tired after fighting my obesity for 9 years already 😑😥😔

It doesn’t seem like consuming MCT from a bottle is “natural.” I get that it’s a good thing to do. But I’m not sure I’d call it natural. I’m being picky over a word I guess. Lol

Hm I have several of their products and have to disgaree. I have had my blue light glasses almost 4 years and wear them near daily. I have used their RLT device for as long as it has been out (2 years maybe?). Never had any issues!
