A Fire Knight's Greatsword showcase would be cool. It has the true combo potential of the Godslayer's UGS and the Zweihänder's R2. I think it's probably the best UGS now.
I love that the DLC has brought us so many new sick weapons like the great katanas or the fire knight greatsword. But at the same time I wish they had brought more variety to each weapon class. Once that these weapons are cemented as the best (moveset wise) in their class, they’ll become a staple and every build is going to be including them.
It's actually broken since it has the normal ugs hitstun with the godslayer movset. R1 - R1 is a true combo. Does roughly 1600 damage fire infusion on pure str.
I've been running a Rakshasa cosplay build at lvl 150 for invasions. So the full armor set along with the weapon. It's been difficult but very fulfilling!
Might be because the armor makes you deal more dmg but also take more. The katana also has higher poise while swinging, but again you take more dmg as a tradeoff.
Really? I played the exact same minus the boots and gloves for poise and i think it was one of the most successful invasion days I've ever had. So fun too i love this set up👌

i legitimately love that the light attack chain is almost exactly the same attack chain that longswords in monster hunter use, just different animation speeds and the overhead slash has a bit more startup on mh's version
Chase really loves to buff up the enemies while invading. Now that there’s perfume weapons, it could be really cool to see a perfumer cosplay for invasions that uses uplifting aromatic to buff just like the actual enemies do
I love the Rakshasa, thing is so simple but damn its reliable. Also love Flame Skewer on the Great Katana, the giant hunt thrust but it buffs the sword is so good
As soon as I saw the great katana moveset, I knew he would be into it. The thrusts feel so good and the slightly off timing given by the attack windups catches so many people

The katanas are unexpectedly good. The length is just immense and the speed is perfect for rollcatches. Just next to no weaknesses. Even their ashes look wery simple but are very good. Solid A+ weapons.
The *Overhead Stance* with Occult is simply disgusting! Also, ever since the nerf to *Spinning Slash* on the Nagakiba, the *Great Katana* is a great alternative to excessively long katanas
Alright chase. I have a request. Light straight sword and back hand sword in off hand. Their move sets flow so well together and I've kills so many invaders with the mix ups that combo offers.

Its hard for me to say because i currently only have the 150. I now have to run a 125 through lmfao. if you want to save yourself time just stay 138. I do sort of believe 150 may end up being more active through as most coop players going through the game will probably start from their finished characters which tend to end the game at 140-150 but thats just a guess of mine really lol

Do you think 150 should be the meta now? Any lower than 150 and the DLC is just too much of a pain imo...also I always thought 150 was superior to 125 since 150 allows one to reach the 60 vigor softcap as well as one 80 stat softcap (dex, str, arcane) etc. The softcaps in elden ring are much higher than in the previous games; furthermore, Elden Ring is a lot more grand in scale...150 also happens to be about the level people end up as by the end of the game by playing naturally with no grinding etc.
My character _"Too Poor For DLC"_ cries, seeing all these cool weapons and new Ashes of War. Everyday he helps out *Hosts* through _main game_ at *lvl 40,* just to see them wield DLC weapons. As they get one shot my Godrick, Renalla and Radahn, etc...

Bro that 2 handed talisman is sick. It only buffs your regular light and heavy attacks, but it's 15 percent, on PVE anyway. I'm guessing it's less for pvp but still.

Try out the new night weapons in pvp. The blade of night, and claw of night are actually really powerful/strong and have really cool unique effects. The AoW on the katana has amazing wake up and punish potential that’s akin to hand of malenia. Less damage but much easier to pull off, and all 3 strikes combo, great for a multi-hit setup
14:09 That is actually the purfume bottle ash of war rolling sparks on mad perfume bottle. And funnily enough that was the "fair" use of it. If you free aim it at the ground it can do 7-9k damage. Genuinely insane, can kill Consort in 30 seconds.

Use bloody wild strikes great katana, you will be doing 2x damage.

People having 1k HP in the DLC is CRAZY. I'm literally walking around Morgott Runed up with 2600 HP, and I STILL feel like enemies melt me sometimes.

I can get Rakshasa to over 2,6k AR with a RL 150 dex build. Pretty crazy. And in a more standard set up, running r1 still does well over 800 damage.
