Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Excuse me sir, if i grind my coffee beans to medium can i use it with my other method like clever dripper or that's need other way of extraction for the beans?
"Even your grandma can do it"
Bro, I'm the inept one here. That woman is remarkable lol
hahahahaha best comment ive ever read!!!!!
FACCCTTTTTSSSSSSS....
🤣🤣
Same 😭😩😂😂
You’re right, my grandma can make this. Mind you, she’s a champion barista and owns her own coffee company.
Yeah, that’s grandma Pro Level ☕️💪
cool, wanna medal?
@@elismith6962 Maybe. I'll ask her when she gets back from her deployment with Seal Team Six.
That is cool and badass
Is she Bucks?
Star Bucks?
Accidentally bought ground coffee and didn’t have a coffee maker. This saved my day! Thank you sir
Same to same yesterday only
I've been doing this my whole life. Any preparation is, at the end of the day, about principles, that is, heat and water, and of course the quality of the coffee. Coffee can be prepared in many different ways by simply controlling heat and water. It's quite straightforward and doesn't necessarily need to be an elusive act with elaborate equipment.
I have always used instant coffee but recently my sister brought this ground coffee, i tried making it as shown in the video but even after straining some power still remains n you can feel it in the mouth. I'm going back to the instant one now. Also it(the ground) tastes way different than instant coffee.
@@watchingkungfupanda2291 so which one is stronger?
@@sudeepbasnet2264 ummm for me instant coffee works I'll say
@@watchingkungfupanda2291 Possibly the beans were ground too finely. Keep it grainy as opposed to powdery.
Grew up in coffee plantation, this is how we always have coffee 👍👍
Oh yes! Thanks for a comment.
Thank you very much. I discovered this video out on vacation when I had nothing but coffee and a cup. Now that I'm back home, I just keep making it this way because it is just so good. Much easier to measure, coffee is always strong and mellow at the same time, catching the foam with the spoons is fun and it is just a great ritual for a delightful brew. So, again, thank you. My pour-over and my french press are starting to feel left alone though.
I'm watching this because I bought coffee grounds instead of instant coffee by accident
Same here😂😂😂😂
Same
Same😂
Same here
this stuff is defo better than any instant coffee
4 min video to say “use a strainer” 🙄
😂
😂...right, I kept going back to see if I missed something 😂
Since the outbreak of covid-19 in Turkey, I have been making coffee at home. I bought speciality coffee beans and cut a 2 Liters Coca-Cola bottle in half. The upper half I flipped it and use it as a filter holder and I put the cup in the lower half. It is quite convenient tbh.
Kindly elaborate
Beware of micro plastics leaching into your coffee due to the heat of the water.
use a french press. THey are like 10 bucks
I have some ground espresso “cafe bustelo” but didn’t have a coffee machine or coffee maker. I have to tell you it’s even simpler than putting an espresso maker on the stove. Only difference is I had to strain it twice but I had two empty mugs so it was sooo simple. Doing this every morning, thanks for the lifehack
im going to drink my parents' coffee so i can pull an all-nighter
Same
LMFAOO THATS WHY IM HERE
LOL sameee
Lmaoooo
Thank you for making this very useful video Alex.. and thank you for mentioning "Kopi Tubruk" from Indonesia, our country. It's been our coffee brewing tradition since our ancestors knew about coffee. We also can modify it with modern Cupping method, let say "Kopi Tubruk ala Cupping". Salam Kopi 🙏
Kopi tubruk memakai air mendidih, klo udah agak dingin biasanya "mbededek"
Hai dok..
💕
point is, start with a good quality coffee.
thanks so much for including Tubruk.
big fan.
This method is very commonly used in Indonesia, because we don't want the hassle of using too many tools
Was in desperate need for caffeine thanks you have possibly saved lives.
Grandma? Dude, this ain't tech. Grandmas are the experts here, you got it the other way around. More like, it's so easy to use, even your grandson can do it.
Definitely thought it was disgusting without the filter. I ground it pretty coarse. But used the filter and it produced a great, bold cup of coffee. Muchas gracias Euro Coffee.
this method is like the french press with out the french press 😂
Yes 😅
Except the grind size I think... French press using coarser coffee powder.
, 😂
Excellent! Im so broke that I can't buy a coffee maker, but I was gifted a bag of delicious ground coffee 😅.. Thanks for the video!
Never knew coffee was this simple, thanks!
Thank you so much for showing me this video. Now, I do not have to go by a coffee maker thanks to you. Keep up the good work. Kudos
I usually use a strong paper towel and strain it like coffee paper. The outcome is always a dark hazel color, but I will definitely try this method out, that coffee looks amazing!!
Basically a makeshift French press that I was doing when I was waiting for my new AeroPress to arrive! 👍🏼😃
This is a great method that i can use while camping. Thank you!
2:20 actual start of the video
Wow this really works so thanks and didn't know it was this simple or easy. My problem is that I wait longer than 4minutes and still have some coffee residue in my cup even after using a strainer. My coffee is toasted hazelnut. Thanks for this option video
Grandma's knowledge pool is much bigger and deeper than ours!
Lol grandmas can do more. They are the real champs.
They are indeed ☕️🖤
I usually have instant coffee. however I have coffee that needs to be brewed but I have no coffee maker.and this video helps. thanks to know that I actually use a strainer so I did it correct thanks so much for this information.God bless in Jesus name❤😊
I liked the way you pushed the bag forward, into focus. I'm going try into Pyrex cup first, cause it has a spot.
And by the way.....never underestimate a grandmother....they teach their grandchildren many valuable lessons of life and give the best hugs!
So true! Thanks for pointing it out 🖤
a lot of people in Indonesia makes kopi tubruk with preground (super fine) factory made coffee, very dark roast, with boiling water. You can imagine the bitterness 😩😩
I do this! I tried it out because I didn’t like coffee makers and don’t drink coffee often; but when guests came who wanted it I was always in a pickle. Then I realized I had no idea how to make coffee-did it have to really drip like that, was there some kind of timing? Then my common sense clicked in and I thought-isn’t it just like prepping loose leaf tea? So I just did it that way. But I’ve been wondering if I’ve been doing it wrong, so I’m thankful for this video!! 😅 It’s a relief. One thing I wanted to mention is, if your strainer is larger and you wanted less grinds, you can also put a coffee filter on the strainer, OR use one of those stainless steel tea strainers on Amazon with fine holes, which is what I use now.
THANK YOU
Thank you for another great video. You videos are always of good quality. And your genuine style makes them a pleasure to watch.
Omg ive been doing the same thing. Thanks for validating my methods 😁
Now I can make a late night cup of coffee without waking my parents
honestly thanks, my parents don’t want me drinking coffee but no matter how much i sleep i’m still exhausted and it’s impacting my grades
If you’re still exhausted after sleeping a lot it’s most likely because of something else. I would talk to you parents and let them know you’re serious. Also try sleeping on a set schedule
you may have sleep apnea which can kill you. see your doctor.
I love your honesty ... Thank you for the information
Published on 420 video duration 4:20 min 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this :D
If only Willie Nelson would have made video would be a trifecta.😊
Nice
Great vid Alex! Now try to make tubruk, let it sit for 4 minutes, filter with your favorite method (v60 / aeropress). I've been drinking it this way. It's fun to experiment :)
Tony Rahman why not just use the inverted aeropress method for 4 minutes?
Thoughtfully made video! Thank you
Melita coffee filter... morning meditation... And, washing dishes, by hand, is my water meditation
Never thought I would think I would not be here my parents have a very expensive machine but they bought the wrong coffee so there’s only grounds I was feeling that taste hey thanks for the video I feel refreshed😂
Hi! I love watching to your videos. It's really a great help. One of your avid fan here in the Philippines😊
I’m pretty sure all of our grandmas used to do it back in their days 😂😂😂😂
I think she still does it that way ☕️🖤
I usually make cowboy coffee when I'm without a coffee pot (generally backpacking).
Nice! Renting an AIRBNB and no coffee maker! I will give this a go today.
I always visit Alex's channel. Very informative videos here.
Me: oh nice I dont need to deal with floaters.
Video; you need a strainer
Me; above all else I own, I dont HAVE A STRAINER!
Helpful, thanks! God Bless you!🙏🏼❤️
Thanks
Accidentally burned my Bioletti two days age) Was suffering. Thank you, man!
I am thankful for You on the Tube!
Thank you so much! Im riding the struggle bus rn & I cant buy myself some coffee filters lol
Ps: boys just dont get married its just not worth it anymore
Thanks for good guidelines. Now I can pour coffee without any types or filtering.
Kopi tubruk is more like you do cupping but using finer grind size of coffee.
Greetings from Indonesia, Ales! :)
In the Philippines we have a different way of making coffee
Yes we can still use coffee makers but i like the manual way better to customize the amount of sugar, milk and ground coffee
I've been drinking coffee ever since I was 12 and never used any machine, in fact I just but two small spoons of fine ground coffee in an aluminum pod and add water to it, then give it a little shake and put it on the stove top until the surface of the mixture starts swelling and then I take it off and pour it in a cup and you might need to git rid of the grain the same way used in the video.
Never heard of anyone buying specialty coffee from greek roasteries before...Thank you for supporting our roasters guys! Be safe!
My friend who is in Greece now said Taf roasts excellent quality coffee. I wish I can taste those coffees.
I use coffee filter over a big tall cup or beaker then put 3 table spoons of fresh ground coffee using a rubber band to secure in place then pour slowly until no space left in filter wait until its clear and pour some more takes around 4 mins to make a cup of coffee this way
I always thought there was some special way of doing it, it's almost the same as tea!
It was the classical way to make coffee in Lombardy before the Moka Pot... "Saucepan coffee", "el café del pignatin"
I literally sighed of relief when the ad for his product was reasonable
Thanks so much
Excellent video 👋🏾
Grandmas can do anything!!
Thank you.
Oh, that is easy. I am going to try this today. Thanks.
Thank you!
I have a coffee sock which I use when I need to make lots of coffee. Pretty common in South East Asia where I'm from
Jeremy Tan Yes, especially in Singapore & Malaysia.
It’s like how they make milk tea in Hongkong. They use those sock-like nets to filter their black tea.
cool thanks
Good! It could have been better if you described the taste or compare it with some other brewing methods tho.
"Tubruk" mean "hit", because you hit the coffee with water ^_^"
Didn't tubruk means "grinding" the coffee with muntu and cowek?
Thanks!
Grandma??? Grandma's are the champs at cooking. She could make coffee without a coffee maker. Heck she could even make coffee without coffee. Grandmas are undefeated.
Could it work in a tea bag?
Yes, it may take a little longer to extract all flavors.
as an a college studentt
ty
Can you please tell approximately how much caffeine would be there in this cup. Please 😀🔴
Thanks bro!!!
0:11 I don't think people can make coffee in their graves .......
Grandparents actually know alot of things we younger generations don’t, there’s some people who don’t even know how to read a Roman numeral clock
I drink the coffee sediment tastes earthy
I like my coffee as black as it gets👌
Awesome video
Fine ground cofffe or Coarse ground coffee for this method?
Thank you sooooooooooooooooooo mutch
What if i put the coffee in the strainer and poured the water over the top would that work?
I love it!❤
Thanks bro. Tried my first brewed coffee and it was transcendental.
When do you mix the sugar
We don't:)
Is there a paper that works good as a strainer but won't break?
Cheers man
Wow so many steps and tools needed, freaking crazy. Better video of a dude just boiling it in a sauce pan on the stove lol bam boom done
good one
This is the oldest and the best (on my own point) way to make coffee.
improvisation is also part of preparing coffee
I use a paper filter and it's very clean
Where can I order that coffee bean grinder?
I sometimes chew dark roasted coffee beans at work. Chew well and it’s not like saw dust.
We saw quite many coffee roasters chewing roasted beans to get immediate sensory feedback from the roasting process.
