I pre-ordered two of these also looks like they make a pretty good plug and play. Take care. Happy 2024! Good to see you on. Take care
Thanks mate, They look good I have found the larger f405 a great flight controller for my fx61 so the mini should be great for smaller craft especially. I have 2 planes coming a zohd drift and an atom RC dolphin whichever arrives first I will fit to that.
Bummer that they dropped the 9/12v BEC for VTX- that pretty much shoots down the hope that we can switch VTX power on/off via Radio switch (really needed to prevent overheating of VTX while waiting for GPS fix or other delays). I understand this capability is in the works for a new version of the original F405 Wing from SpeedyBee.
I usually have my vtx unplugged via jst until I’m ready to launch so switching it on or off via transmitter doesn’t really bother me. But I do understand it is the easiest way though than to plug and unplug a jst plug each time.
@@stonesrcchannelI do the same.
I do think there might be some 3rd party solutions developed for leds that will work for vtx . Could be wrong
Could you not use a miniature solid state RC switch (like the Menace) to control the power via a spare channel on your TX?
