Thanks for helping me make up my mind. I've been fighting with my cuttle bug for years. Your video helped me make up my mind and I can't wait to get it. Thanks again.
Thank you for your tutorial review. I purchased the boho blue mini when it was introduced and have never used sed it. So today while packing some card making supplies to take with me while away I brought my mini cut and embossing machine. I decided to look for instruction videos before I used it. But what I was most grateful for was your beautiful and encouraging words as you closed. To bring honor and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Such a blessing. 🙏🏻❤️
There is still issues with embossing using your standard embossing folders. I'm working with Stampin' Up to try and get a resolution. My opinion is the new plates are a bit thicker than the original plates. I believe this is a manufacturing issue and not the machine. Mine worked fine until I purchased new cut plates.
Hey Sally...I did not have any problems with the mini until I ordered new cut plates. It is my opinion that they are just a ml thicker than they should be thus creating this problem.
I have one 3D Embossing folder (Tim Holtz Gears), and the only way I could get it to roll through was using the No 1 Base, Embossing Folder and then the little instruction pamphlet that came with the Mini Stamping Machine on top! Worked like a charm!!
Hi Kathy .... I had the same problem a few weeks ago and tried the same as you and it worked! Think SU should tweak the design though if we are all struggling. Thnx for sharing x
Hi Lizzie, I called them yesterday and after they ran me through all the possible solutions, to which none worked, they are sending me a new machine & providing a return shipping label for me to return my old machine.
I only have the 3D embossing plates and my original mini machine plates. I got success with the number 3 plate, the embossing folder/ paper and the number 4 plate staggered. A couple of times it didn’t want to go so I flipped the 4 plate around (with the “4” coming in last) which worked. Another time I flipped the whole sandwich over and that worked. Maybe that will work for you.
Is it possible that some machines are just made too tight? I just received my mini machine after a long decision process, and choosing the SU one. I’m a bit bummed to hear there are issues. I’ll try my machine today.
This machine has been so frustrating. I had high hopes because the opening is so much wider than my Sidekick. The wiggle factor, having to stand up, difficulty with plates going through, etc. have all been a problem for me. I have yet to try using the #3 plate instead of the #1 but, even so, am disappointed in how this machine performs compared to my Sidekick. If my die is small enough I use it instead of the Stampin Up machine. It suctions to my table and I can easily crank it sitting down.
MaryAnn, I would contact Stampin' Up and request another machine. I did that and when I got my new machine it worked like a charm. Let me know if you get a new machine and how it works for you. I sure hope this is helpful for you.

It's ok Kathy, I struggled with history in school and now I love history. 🤷
Thank you Kathy for the info. I don't have either of the Stampin Cuts. The larger one is on my wish list.

only plates that I have are the 1 and two 2's that I remember that was all I got, and I have all my plates together.
I am speaking of the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. They all come with 5 plates.
