I just got the mini. I have some dies that are thicker than think it's...if I use the bottom plate and two #2 plates it doesn't want to go through....what is your suggestion....ty
Yes, you can use other dies in this machine as long as they are not too wide to fit through - you may need to adjust your sandwich by adding an extra layer or two of card stock on top.

The roller isn't moving at all or it isn't grabbing your sandwich? Make sure you try staggering your plates and sometimes it can help if you change where you are putting pressure from the top while you're holding it. Sometimes I put a little pressure to gently tilt the machine just a little bit towards myself and then it will grab the sandwich better.

Try replacing the #1 plate with the #3 plate because it's a little thinner. So your sandwich would be #3, #2, paper, die, #2

Can faux leather be use with this machine
I think it would depend on what dies you are using, most of the dies currently available are meant for cutting paper. How thick is faux leather?
