I love the way you use paper towels/napkins to soak up the grease! I’ve been doing that for years. I also do it after I’ve emptied my pans, to soak up a lot of the grease and throw the paper towels away, less grease in my dishwater or in my sink. It’s just something I’ve always done to get rid of that yucky grease. Would love to see a house tour! Love your personality and can’t wait to try your recipes. There are so many ones that look yummy.

Love Lasagna two things I do : one I do not cook the noodles but layer them dry and they always cook in the oven and come out tender. I use Cottage Cheese instead of Ricotta mixing in an egg.
I use my grandmother's potato salad recipe. She used to pour in the sweet pickle juice from the jar while the potatoes were still warm, sort of like how you do the Italian marinade. I changed it up a bit by adding white vinegar and sugar as the marinade. We like a sweeter potato salad. You have inspired me to go make some! (And the eggs are so much easier to peel now that I do them in the Instant Pot!)
