beautiful BUT COLD. all year long. gotta have a woodstove! i've driven from north to south of this state on the freeway, several hundred miles, IN A SNOW STORM for half of it. A miracle i survived that trip, couldn't see the lanes of the road..

I love to take your videos and have them on the tv in the background. Great way to relax at home and experience nature at the same time. Some of the time lapse shots are absolutely stunning! Perhaps a mixture of normal speed shots would be great to mix in though.

In 1962 when the worlds fair opened and they built the space needle foe the fair It cost $1.00 to ride the needle . Now it cost around $35. To $40.

How could you leave out Sou Duc waterfalls in the Hoh Rainforest? It's one if the most beautiful places in all of Washington!

Not by a long shot. Maybe it's up there beauty-wise, but the culture is abysmal. Very un-neighborly and often just actively hostile and spiteful. Too bad people, as usual, have to ruin what would otherwise be a good thing.

jwka2001 it's pretty bad on the peninsula and the coast. I grew up in the Adirondacks of NY which aren't nearly as pretty but you don't find any clear cutting going on there. I understand timber is important to the economy of Washington but it's still sad to see it so often. I still love the state, I'm just saying it's sad that they clear cut so much of these beautiful forests.

Ugh, you got some big things wrong!!! You say Quincy area, but show Maryhill almost 100 miles away. Then you say I84 which is in Oregon, but the drive is Highway 14 in Washington.

This would be much better if time lapse photography weren't used. This is one of the must beautiful cities anywhere and it doesn't need your help with "effects" to make is so. Leave it alone and photograph it as it is when one is there. Besides, Seattle used to be a great place to live - "the must livable city in the US" it used to be called. Now it's too crowded and expensive. Many of the people there have now have no appreciation of the place as a setting.

I totally agree with you. IMHO, I prefer raw videos, medium in duration (max. 1 hr.) and no editing.

You are a dip. Seattle is not a coastal city. It is located inland on the Puget (pew - jet) Sound. Seattle is not the Emerald City. That honor goes to Everett, WA. The "Space Needle" is ok, just ok. The Seattle World's Fair did not "immediately become the symbol of the entire PNW." Never was, never has been. It was great, locally, at the time. Who writes this puffery?
You mentioned the Port of Seattle. In Puget Sound there are other ports as well. Taken together, they are tremendous. I don't know that there are tours, even aerial ones. Pitty.
The Columbia River Gourge is great. If possible, arrange to be on an outlook when the B-52's are doing a "Star Wars" run up the CRG canyon. Sight of a lifetime.
The rest is pretty good. You did leave out the rarity of sunny days in the western part of the state. Probably not a problem as long as you visit after 4 July.
