If you lift up the split floor in the trunk area and flip the cargo cover you removed it actually stows right in the vehicle, no need to place it somewhere in the house or on top.

You didn't really showcase the rear compartment properly. The rear space cover comes off as you showed, but it stores perfectly under the floor panel that lifts up. Also, the folding floor panel folds up and fits into slots that keeps it upright to reveal the hooks meant to hold grocery/shopping bags. Two excellent trunk features that were missed here.

Love this car. Some say the seats are too hard and stiff. Is that true?
I think the back seats are a positioned a bit too upright for my liking, but the seats themselves are comfortable. The front seats are outstanding. My sister got the XC40 when it first came out and I plan on getting it in the next couple of months.

If that's more money then xc40 t5 r-design 20inches fully loaded. It don't look like my car... do the headlights move on yours? Why is there no Chrome on the Staring wheel? How many speakers do that car have.. my car has 12 speakers inside.. plus I didnt get that cheap would look... if it's to hot out do your heated seats turn off my its self? Can u use your foot to open up the back track? I can...does it lock by it self when u walk away? Plus my came with Heavy duty mats. Plus they give us more mats... plus filled up the tank .. yes free gas.. I have a Loners key if me and my wife left town then we can let a friend use our car... give them a time limit. Plus it didnt have no Buttons to put down the back seats.. they said this car was more then my car 🤔 I paid $56,029 was that car more then my car..?
It’s a beautiful car but it’s engine is as thirsty as a V8
I really love this car. It gets between 28 - 30mpg around town, which is a lot better than my last car. I hope they come out with a fully electric Inscription at some point and I will trade this one in. Meanwhile, I'm a very happy driver.
sandy wlv I love my XC40 as well but I would have been happier to have a V6 in it instead of a 2 litre turbo engine
