I currrently drive an XC40 D4 AWD R-Design as a temporary car. My average consumption is 6.8, which is 0.5 more than in my old 2015 V60 D4. The Tiguan 1.5TSI 130 which I had recently only needed 5.8 (petrol, but underperforms). The engine is rather noisy when accelerating, but I don’t notice at cruising speed. At higher speed road noise is a bit to high (20” wheels won’t help). Soon I’ll switch to an XC60 T6 which should be more silent, but overall I do like the XC40 D4.
Great test again My Dad has XC 60 with this engine Great comfort (especiallly seats better than q5 and x3 (new one is so close)) Of course not that dynamic or fast And suprised this little brother is not that quick and as much as thirtsy
Hey thanks for the video. Is this grey or white? We are doubting which one to get through Volvo Care program :) Both colors look stunning but hard to differentiate on videos
I think it is glacier silver, but not sure, you can ask car dealer or show them our video and he will help you for sure. We are car tester and we don't have this car right now, we had this car for one day. I hope you will get right color :)
consumption are so high in this Volvo and in some others too!! it is interesting that this 2.0 d 190hp diesel Volvo xc 40 have higher consumption then VW Tiguan with petrol 2.0 TSI 190hp on this same channel at same speeds

I have the 2021, low engine noise but this test model is loud or the mics from camera are extra sensitive.
Is that the silver colour? Looks almost white, nice though
no speed limit after 180km/h? I thought all volvos are limited to 180km/h max.
Good guys...Great video!!!!
Great Video and Nice car!

All you can say is: It is a Volvo. They always have high consumption.
@@andersnielsen6044 like russian tanks!! You never know where will you stop
since when is 7 litres/100 km at 120 km/h a high consumption? lol
since time when you can get 1,5 liter less consumption ,i think that Touareg consume less with 231hp @@stefanmoraru9544

Bad driving, bad example, with just one hand!
He would have lost his driver license here in my country, just because of this video.
i don't understand why they make the dashboard elements with such cheap plastic , easy to scratch ,fingerprint , dust magnet .
🥊😂💎
What a slow and noisy experience.
Bad sound.
