This has been my first time growing out my hair and it has definitely been a journey. I had 360 waves for 10 years so im glad to do something different and now have curly hair.

There are a lot more of us with white DNA than those of us with native DNA due to rape by slavers (although to sugarcoat the story great-grandparents often tell their descendants that they're mixed with native american) but not as much as 30-40%; that's very high not many of us are almost half, you'd be able to tell... Also this dude looks more brownskin than darkskin but I see your point and these classifications within our community are pointless anyway.

@@ScaledSoShiesty I can’t exactly say I know where my hair journey started because I kept cutting down to a certain length but I would say I haven’t cut it roughly for a 5-6 months and it’s down to the bottom of my nose.
@@johnathankenny5777 Before I ever trimmed my hair, I had a tape fade, 4 inches tall in 4 & half months, its gotten that tall because i sweat a lot and I moisturize every week, my hair grows rapidly during spring & summer
@@ScaledSoShiesty I started with a taper aswell but it grew evenly all round eventually so I just left it to grow to an Afro. My hair also grows fast but could grow faster if I took care of it with routines.
