iRacing .INI File TIPS, Mirrors, Rotate Head, Ticker, and more

- I wanted share some of iRacings hidden settings, these settings are not available in-game, you need to edit the.INI (initialisation) files. We look at the 5 different mirror sizes, how to rotate the drivers head, showing all UI elements, making UI adjustments easier, force the crowd to show during any session, the ticker and finally the fast repair and auto pit reset options. Grab a coffee sit down and relax for 15 minutes.

You're a life saver. In VR the default location of the UI panels requires a lot of head turning but I didn't know how to reposition panels I couldn't see. This is just what I needed to fix that. Thanks, mate!

You can actually set the head movement from the option menu in game no need to change ini file "rotate w vel"

The tyres are my takeaway here. I always forget and pay the price. Like you I don’t tend to race more than 40mins generally, and that long rarely, mostly 15mins.

Transparency can be found in the renderDX11monitor file, within the [User Options] section, you should find DriveUITransparency, make sure this =1.000

I don’t believe its possible, you can only adjust the yaw and pitch
@@IanWithamSimRacing damn, because cars are looking too close then they really are and it’s confusing since I don’t use virtual mirror for immersion purpose
