Anjali seems great not just in throwing herself into every scene but also mastery of the system only as she only asks for checks when absolutely necessary.

Anjali has played with some of the best DM's (that i've seen) it only makes sense that she'd learn a thing or 2, not to mention her own ability as a long time player.

Anjali as a dm, in general, but yeah the Myconids were adorable.

The other 2 players held their own in terms of RP. Great 1-shot IMHO.

Last time I saw Luis Carazo, was with Exandria Unlimited: Calamity. I expect a... slight contrast 😆

He was back for critical role for the second series of Candela Obscura. If you loved how he was in Calamity you'll love him there too.
I just finished building the Mimic dice box while watching this. It's glorious!
This was fantastic, absolutely wonderful. Anjali was a great DM, the party did an amazing job, I got extremely hungry, and, most importantly, I NEED this set!

I've seen 3 of the group play some D&D (and other ttrpgs) before and it was all amazing so far... can't imagine whats about to happen. Anjali has so much IRL charisma that I couldn't really imagine a better DM for a Lego based adventure. Love your on screen appearances regardless of what they are

Have Legos as a kid, and when the Lego chess board came out, I kept trying to run D&D games on it I kept trying to run D&D campaigns on it.
Sadly it whyen missing with all my other Lagos years ago.

This was amusing as hell! Enjoyed the silly lightheartedness of it all, with some sprinlkes of intensity here and there. I think Anjali Bhimani did an exceptionally well executed first session as a DM. What a game to start as a DM as honestly! The players were all wonderful to watch with how they tackled each phase, with some truly inspirational choices.😃
Was definitely beside myself when the, honestly deadly, Beholder was actually Pouncy the Displacer Beast! Always nice to see more reprisentation from my favourite D&D creature, the Displacer Beast.🤣😁
Only technical mistakes I saw was when Professor Althea Runspinner, the Wizard played by Ginny Di, ate the Pearl when casting Identify. Since Identify does not consume the Pearl. Also when Gaspar Roca, the Cleric played by Luis Carazo, had Detect Magic still up when it would have dissapeard when Guidance was cast, and vice versa, due to Concentration.🙂
I only mention these points to inform those who were unaware of these rules before and possibly learnt something new. Of course, you may not care about these points, and that's the wonderful thing about D&D, you can always choose how you wish to change or use rulings to your preference.😌
Although the bit itself where Althea causally ate the Pearl made me wish it did consume it, as it's a hillarious scene. 😆

There was a theme back in the day called Heroika
It’s hard to guess with a new GM (who as I understand it, up to a couple of months ago was also a new player) to know how good they’ll be. But the pacing and descriptions are on point. It seems she has really done her homework, which I greatly respect. Her command of the rules of the game is very solid. Well done!

Bhimani is absolutely amazing.
Mimic Dice box was unavailable so fast. Ordered just a few hours into the first day it was available.
I've watched loads of Ginny Di videos before, but I haven't actually seen her play until now, and she's awesome! Does anyone know if there are any other games or campaigns that she's in that i can watch?

I GM'd my first time on an Actual Play, so I totally understand the nerves Anjali must have been feeling. But she's a natural! Love her so much and can't wait to see more from her as a Game Master!

Our cleric has been super busy lately so my DM gave me (the wizard) a necklace with 3 healing spell charges on it. Hahaha sometimes it pays to whine in character about “meta game” issues. This is an idea (dnd with LEGO) I’ve had for a couple years and I’m excited to see it come to fruition in an official sense.
It's wild that there are now official d&d lego. When I started playing over 15+ years ago my group bought a ridiculous amount of lego & for each campaign we played over the next 5-6 years built our own pc minis from what we bought. 😊

well. The campaign that me and my friends have started over 30 years ago. We used Legos for the figurines and made our own dungeons too. Once we kind of graduated from that, we wanted to name our "world" and we came up with "World of Legon" Its actually World of Lego(s) with an N added on the end because copyrights and all that. Just thought it was neat to see D&D and Lego in the video. worldoflegon

A very fun adventure and a cool Lego set. So glad to see an example for my own upcoming one shot. Anjali Bhimani did a good job DMing her first game (especially while being recorded for something like this) and Luis Carazo brought some wonderful gravitas. It was my first time seeing Ginny D play and I have to say she is a great player to watch!
My biggest issue was how awkward it was to see the head of the Lego design team playing and acting surprised with the features he was a part of putting in the set (the trap door for example). I kind of wish Brendan Lee Mulligan and Aabria Iyengar had been there instead of the two designers (nothing personal, but more professional performers would have probably upped the entertainment value).

I have a bunch of lego dudes for people to use as minis. Most players still prefer to use the painted minis, but it can be fun to make your mini that matches your character. While I like that you can show what weapon or item is in your hand, one of the people in my group told me it is not helpful enough to get him to want to make a lego dude.

I loved the dynamic between all the party members with both each other and all the npcs, but my favorite dynamic was the relationship between Wayness and Gespar. They had such a wholesome dynamic. :)
