    ive had traction alopecia and its because of a decade of tight hairstyles and i stopped when i knew it was traction alopecia and the hair is growing back but its growing slowly and thinly will it grow back thick eventually?

    I’m loving these type of videos! Simply explained and informative ✨ I actually recently noticed a 😩 bald spot 😭 and it definitely can be a result to me always laying my baby hair, I was obsessed. It could be traction alopecia. So I stopped for the past month and hope to see some growth.
    Thank you for this video Angela! Loving the content & consistency ✨

      I'm so happy to hear that my videos are useful and so sorry to hear that you have noticed a bald spot :(. Hopefully with patience and time everything will go back to normal! And otherwise: you know where to find me! 💕

    Will minoxidil and steroid injections help hair to regrow back if you have traction alopecia?

    After you reverse the hairstyle and grow back some hair (like I used to do a ponytail all the time and I’ve stopped), can I do ponytail ever again after regrowth??

    Do you think would be possible to get box braids if i have some alopecia on the sides?

    Mine comes from wearing a scarf for more than 20 years. I never thought it was that, but just realized that there is something like this

    Baby hairs saved my edges… as soon as i stopped my edges were snatched!!!! 😢… then again i didn’t really do them… i just left the edges out and very rarely touched them.

    What is considered long-term? I had tight braids for a month and noticed significant hair loss, is it still reversible?

    • @Curlbellaa
      @Curlbellaa  2 года назад +1

      when I say long term I'm really talking about seeing no return or hair growth activity for over a year. Depending on how severe and the state of the follicles in some cases we can safe some after that period of time but transplants can also be an option again, depending on the overall state of both the effected as the donor area! x

    Can box braids cause traction alopecia?

    If it has been years, can a transplant work

      It's hard to answer this question since I havent evaluated the state of the scalp, I'll personally would have to use a microscope to see if there is still any activity on the scalp. It could be possible, but it really depends on the state of the scalp in that area and the state of the 'donating' area being used on your scalp! x
