The point of the festival is to have fun, not to damage your body. You can't go party in front of 120 decibels for days on end, hes just trying to protect his hearing.

ive never looked for a specific substance more than 10 minutes at shambs. Alcohol is the hard/expensive one to find actually haha

this is true, if you are going there for the purpose of trafficking which many people do at different festivals for profits sake, or hard drugs, they usually are caught within the first day or two ive seen it happen. So if youre playing safe no worries :D

You can light up a doob any place any time at shams and nobody will care in the slightest, you might get comments like: hey smells good or yum can i get a toke? only will you be confronted for weed smoking is if your tossing roaches on the ground (don't do that). They have to say that for legal purposes.

dude, if they didn't say they would report drugs they would be encouraging the use of illegal narcotics. They are obligated to say that. they will report ghb or amphetamines if you are obviously over board but they don't harass weed smokers or anyone minding their own business. Shambhala is a place of peace and serenity the last thing they want is to kick you out, so relax get high and have fun just dont be a problem
Hey all, so I went on the Shambhala website seeking out fun. One of my heros is Jim Morrison of The Doors, he is like the most chill cool person ever. So I'm thinking the natural plant Cannabis is honoured at the Shambhala festival. "BUT then I see on the Shambhala website that any illegal drug activity is reported to the RCMP" ... hey guys I love you all but this is not cool, there are humans whom use cannabis to live and love life. its a natural plant and I ask =Shambhala to embrace it. :)
this is true but id say against branding it as a drug haven (as much as it might be) just for practical reasons to keep the down low its common sense really.. many people dont need drugs to enjoy a place like Shambhala. hahaOne Love.
dude you have it so wrong. Never will you see as many people smoking in one place then you will at shambs. Ive seen people roll doobs front row at a stage on the bassbins while the weed bounces around from the bass
Of course there will be marijuana this is Bc, and you shouldnt have a problem finding some or bringing it in. Almost positive you wont get searched by security or the rcmp. But this talk should be kept to a mininmal on here i believe at least for the sake of the festival.
Of course there are drugs and alcohol when you go to an event like this , and for that reason there are resources in the festival to help you out on many levels, whaever you need harm reduction/ first aid/ the sancutary etc.
