Actually 20030 was River Rother & 20064 was River Sheaf; in addition Railfreight livery 20118 (the only survivor) was River Don. I was recently reminded of these since joining the Don Catchment Rivers Trust.
Class 20s signal boxes ,semephore signaling and telegraph poles . What a real nostalgic veiw .thanks for sharing this lovely video.
Been to Ely Station last weekend - Nothing like that now... It's all light signals and OHLE...
Carnt beat a couple of 20`s doing the work Trevor , either cargo or passenger ..
Fabulous footage Trevor. I like the “Lickey” - on Ilkley Moor Ba’Tat” arrival! Hope all’s well.
That pairing doing Pacer replacement. . . .x2 locos to do a 3 carriage service, unreal that.
I don't think these would have been as likely to happen if the Class 151 prototype DMUs hadn't been withdrawn in 1989...
Glad you enjoyed,Great memories of the past.''
What website may I find this on
