So thin to thin to thick to thin to thin to thick to thin but waves then straight to thick but thin so reverse curve then forward curve then thin to thick then thin to thin to thick to thin to thin to thin to thick to thin to thicc Makes sense
I spent a year trying to draw with normal pens without luck, my myoclonus dystonia makes it hard enough as is but my experience with a brush pen showed me my hand tremors are just too bad to actually draw with ink. I was so disheartened I cried. Since then however, Iearned a few tricks, using large shapes, and drawing big, which helped me manage my issues to get something somewhat acceptable.
Actually, if you watch a lot of "masters," their lines are very shaky or uneven. They just lay down shaky lines consistently or in high volume so they don't stand out as flaws. Sketching is often the same thing taken to an extreme. I definitely understand being unable to get past perfectionism and wishing for clean lines though.
@@vitriolicAmaranth It's not perfectionism (Though I have the same problems like getting caught in the details as any other artist haha), it's not wanting to instantly ruin something you spent significant time on. The problem is you are thinking shaky lines; it's a bit more like making huge streaks randomly through the entire thing you were drawing and accidentally flinging your pen part way across the room. I can get away with things to a degree with pencil and an eraser albeit much slower than most folks, but pen on paper is just flat out of the question for me most days. Thankfully digital options have let me ink, paint, and work in "permanent" mediums in a more manageable way. From back in the day in animation and illustration, it was popular with using brush pen for the outlines, most notably ruled at the 2000s.
