Duck Hunting a Tiny Cornfield Pond | Only 60 yards wide! | Missouri Mallards 2024

Finally on some mallards here in Missouri! We have been waiting for this opportunity all season and luckily Dan was able to find them on our own home turf (our sad dry lease). This tiny little pond in the middle of a 200 acre tilled cornfield was holding hundreds of ducks the day before. This morning we marched through ankle deep sticky mud for a half mile and were able to shoot our limits of fat mallards. Heck of a day…just look at our reenactment of our excitement on the thumbnail.

We have had nothing but green wings up here near KC until last week when we started seeing mallards. Yeah I agree, we need some cold weather bad!

Put some imp cylinder chokes in smh,and more natural brush on blind they stood out like a turd in a punch bowl
