  • Finally on some mallards here in Missouri! We have been waiting for this opportunity all season and luckily Dan was able to find them on our own home turf (our sad dry lease). This tiny little pond in the middle of a 200 acre tilled cornfield was holding hundreds of ducks the day before. This morning we marched through ankle deep sticky mud for a half mile and were able to shoot our limits of fat mallards. Heck of a day…just look at our reenactment of our excitement on the thumbnail.

Glad someone is seeing ducks in MO. Seeing some but very stale. Hoping for something magical during south zone if it ever gets cold

We have had nothing but green wings up here near KC until last week when we started seeing mallards. Yeah I agree, we need some cold weather bad!
