    2:15 Look, it's still wanting to be fed despite being eaten itself... A baby bird's greed never ceases to amaze me!!!!! Amazing!!!!

      The chick isnt wanting to be fed, he is agonal breathing. he is starting to die. The falcons claws probably punctured into the body.

    The larger chick was the one taken. Surprisingly the smaller chick isn’t even injured, looks like it flattened itself down into bottom of the nest under the larger chick. 😮

  • @nalaeel219
    @nalaeel219 7 месяцев назад +3

    The claws on top of the baby birds back probably punctured a lung. or the chick went into shock

    The “moral” of this story is sometimes it pays to be the runt! I don’t know about bird attention spans, or if they think ahead, remember things clearly; probably not .. but just imagine if the mother was eventually going to kick the small chick out of the best, to give the stronger one all her attention. Or really, more commonly, the larger sibling often does this as it gets stronger (simply out of natural, survival-based selfishness). It’s very common in birds and other animals too. Survival of the fittest from the early days! But not here! The bigger chick was a bigger meal! And it’s crazy how so many birds are fixated on eyes! What is that? That was the first thing the raptor went for! You hear about cross pecking peoples eyes out, the movie “The Birds” for example…

    • @robsieger1886
      @robsieger1886 8 месяцев назад +1

      Usually not. These videos indicate the runts are often killed and/or thrown out of the nests by their parents ("brood management").

    Brutal...!, La pregunta es: eso es así en todo mundo natural tanto micro como macro?

    • @erikm8372
      @erikm8372 11 месяцев назад

      Sí, en mi opinión así es como funciona la supervivencia animal; y esto es en todos los mundos, tanto micro como macro. Incluso con humanos... En inglés, decimos que se llama "survival of the fittest", o dicho como "la supervivencia del más fuerte" o "el más apto" en español..
      Esto video es… la Supervivencia del pájaros más aptos, desde los primeros días! Pero no aquí! 😬😕 Esa pájaro más grande fue una comida más mejor para el águila. Y es una locura cómo tantos pájaros miran a los ojos, no? Qué es eso? Eso fue lo primero que comió el águila! Brutal. Has oído hablar de los ojos cruzados de la gente, la vieja película "Los pájaros" por ejemplo...

      @@erikm8372 muchísimas gracias por tu opinión. Podría entonces un día llegar una especie de otro planeta y depredar a los humanos. Cazarlos ya que tendríamos en nuestro organismo algúna sustancia o proteínas beneficiosa para ellos, tanto alimenticia como para algún uso industrial para ellos.

      @@lavosier2 I was just about to provide that link, so thank you for beating me to it. I don't like those who edit someone else's vid to claim as their own. All this guy did was mirror the footage and cut it off at 2:30 and spliced on the ending where it flies off, so you don't see the graphic parts. The hawk removes the birds beak, then the top of its head and surprisingly it remains animate. With no dome, all you see is a tongue protruding from the neck area still trying to scream lol

      I don’t think you understand how Mother Nature works. Take a biology class and stop expecting real life to be like a Disney film. Birds don’t possess human emotions. It’s ridiculous to expect them to have an awareness of abstract concepts like cowardice. They do everything by instinct and what is likely to ensure the success of a species. Would it make sense for the parent to try and fight off a powerful apex predator like that raptor? It makes far more sense to escape to a new nest and try again.
